Re: Moved My Winch Plug Inside

Yes, you can keep the receiver plugged in. It has a carabiner clip to hold it on if it comes un-plugged. Only happened once to me. I never used the wire controller as the wireless is so much easier.

I got the Warn Wireless remote. Add a lanyard and now you can run the winch and drag the cable. Use it in cab or out.

Re: Alpine Loop - Colorado Camping

Absolutely, steel on slick rock...is well, slick. It was a major PIA having to jam things in spokes or use block and pulley or cable to lower wagons. Hole-N-The-Rock trail can give you the best examples of this. Generally slick rock is not a problem for tired vehicles, even allowing absurd vertical ...

Way harder then Hells Gate. Its the slipperiness, steepness and altitude. That no Power Wagon. And post this video every time someone jumps on the forums and wants to add a cattle guard to the front.

If the steering wheel is straight, tighten them both up nice and tight and go have a beer.

That is an incorrect procedure!!! First you have a few Beers then tighten the nut....

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

I have not wheeled mine enough, but have blasted around the San Juans a bit. I can do most tight switch backs with out backing up. Significantly better then my Titan did. I was actually pleasantly surprised. A Rubicon or a Gladiator would definitely be easier on tight mountain trails. But I would no...

I like em. TFL video from the Chicago Auto show showed Roman Actually hanging on the long one. VERY sturdy. Also the engineer guy walks in and out of the bed blind which is cool.

Re: Locker Bypass / Locker Engagement question

Not really sure what a limit should be. I probably would not try over 15mph. I have seen other makes allow engagement up to that speed. I am sure as speed goes up so do potential stresses of things aligning by a good measure. I cant wait to get mine installed so I can use them with high range on the...

Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

Glad I still own my 05. I don't like anything about these newer gen PW's. They have lost their "off road beast" appeal IMO The extra horsepower and TORQUE doesn’t appeal to you? :poke: Or the improved reliability? Or lack of Drug Lord trim and dragon vomit graphics?(as FCA puts it) Or 360 cameras? ...

Re: Scuffing sound on take off with BFG KO2s?

I live off road, and while the high pressure is rougher on road, once I get to my dirt road it was brutal.

Re: Scuffing sound on take off with BFG KO2s?

You CAN run more pressure in a good tire with out the tire falling apart like the Dura Trash. However for such a brutal ride off-road why would you?

Wow, that's some high air pressure unless you are towing a space shuttle. Try 35-40PSI ranges.

Mine never did that, but had a lot off tapping new. That has gone away. Seems like these engines run smoother after some break in.

Been to Snake Lake. A disastrous trip with never ending break downs. When my Dura Trash sidewall blew destroying a rim the rim repair place really wanted to black out the machine face. I guess black out is still all the rage. I am not a chrome guy and the "Drug Dealer" era of Power Wagons did not interest me. But these rims with the machined face really look great to...

Re: Dude I Love my Ride Video

Roman could hardly contain himself. But it does make a valid point that a PW is not for everyone. Too many want a cushy ride, not to have to climb, better gas mileage, less of a loan payment, ect. And while its "cool" to everyone, its really for a certain personality.

I have never used a snow tire specifically, and have never seen the need. I am not someone who wants to change tires 2x a year to drive in some snow. Mud Terrains and All Terrains do plenty well. Granted they have gotten better, but I lived at 11,200' (Saints John) back in 1992 and have driven with ...
