Re: Pro Cal Disaster 2018

AEV seems puzzled. Nothing worked to reset the truck. Going to pay a shop for a ECU flash tomorrow.

Chevrolet Colorado Side Curtain Airbags Keep Deploying On Easy Off-Road Trails
Chevy has had this problem since the first side air bags on 4x4s, nothing new. Big issue for several manufacturers actually.

Pro Cal Disaster 2018

WARNING!!! DO NOT buy the Procal for your 2018. After the first one did not work, they sent another. It stuck my truck in limp mode and have to wait weeks to get into the shitty dealer. No speedo, no odometer, no back up lines, over heating, no low range, have to trick into 4x4 by starting while in ...

Re: Max tire size

So far great. Better traction, better ride. Slightly more noise. But mostly it boils down to not stressing out about flats. Will take it for a quick loop around Silverton this weekend and see how they do more off-road. Honestly its not real impartial as I have used BFG AT or MT my entire life.

Re: Max tire size

My AV Procal has an Arrow through it. Just like my first Warn wireless remote it did not work. So had to send them a picture of an arrow through it while I wait on a replacement. Not having luck with mods! Also your gas mileage is scary looking with out re-calibration.

Re: Extreme Country or Fun country

Its like the stupid things just crack open, its UN-believeable. Don't know much about those tires, however I do like my KM3 BFG. What I will say if its an AT vs MT argument I think the MT aggressive tread patterns just look better on a PW. I used ATs on my Titan.

Re: Max tire size

15K on Duratrash is about max. I bought 35 Inch BFG KM3s and they really run small, no rubbing and they work great. 37s dont seem to take much work to fit, however things like gearing will come into play.

I went through this on a car that a windshield place replaced a windshield for me on. It is amazing how hard these are to mount and get to stay.

So, to update this a little more....car is running & driving great. Daughter was at the top of her class but quit 9 weeks into the Academy. Re: Warn Wireless Remote Issues

Just an update I never did. Took awhile but Warn sent me a completely new wireless remote. And it is absolutely flawless. So there was definitely something wrong. And they did not fix it and return it, so not something simple like battery. My only complaint is I wish the time out period was longer. ...

Re: Best Build Decision? Leather....

My Duratrash tires had some cupping on the right front after 10K or so. Or simply a slightly uneven wear. I thought maybe alignment, but the truck does not pull at all. So will wait and monitor the new tires. That was at 65PSI probably the majority of the time. Soon after I went to 35-45. And really...

Re: Recall done

I think it was back pressure loss or something throwing off a sensor. Literally I had all sorts of performance issues, check engine lights with a wide range of codes that made no sense, and cruise control that conks out. Remember Japanese truck exhaust manifolds always crack.

Re: Recall done

Funny my 2005 Titan did that for years. I took it to the shop and they tell me its exhaust manifold leaks. I am like you are crazy. But sure enough it caused some sort of glitch with the cruise control. Could not believe it.

Additionally grill guards destroy your truck in a crash. Caving into the front end. Better to save for a nice bumper instead as was mentioned.
