Re: Big Mods to a 2014+

Looks more like $15K to $20K after you address the fuel system, tuning, and transmission. The 6.4 Big Gas has a forged bottom end and heads that flow the same as a HC; I think 800hp is a modestly reasonable figure if you're going to go to the trouble of a blower. The blower kit alone is probably $8k...

Re: Big Mods to a 2014+

ProCharger is the only off the shelf kit available. MDS can't handle boost so you'll have to pull heads at a minimum. If you're digging in then pistons, studs, valve springs, etc would get you a lot more power. Might as well bore it and stroke it at that point. I assume they make Hemi stroker kits....

It is just fodder for the insecure Ford fan boys to jerk off over. Kind of like the articles about how Ram is going to 'destroy' the Raptor. Neither is going to happen, get over it.

Re: ARB solenoids and reliability/longevity

I always get a good laugh when different forums talk about how unreliable the Elockers are and how great ARB airlockers are in comparison. The air systems (not the diffs) constantly shit the bed.

Sorry, not helpful or constructive. Just kind of reminded me.

Re: Weight Distribution Hitch Offroad

I've been using the WD hitch that came with my used toy hauler. It is just the L shaped bars held to the trailer tongue by chains and then pops into the lower side of the hitch, attached to the truck. Played with using different links in the chain and measuring the front, up until the bars didn't s...

A full pull from an M15k would require 3/0 minimum to reach the bed. I ran 3/0 to the bed but the winch is on the chassis battery.

Re: 2nd Battery -- Gen 4.5

Mine is in the bed. It's an OK solution but there is a lot of extra cable I'd like to get rid of if I can find another place. The charge relay is absolutely perfect. I've gone back and forth with Damage Wagon about building an intake so I can install a Cummins 2nd battery tray but nothing has come f...

holy crap that is awesome. but limited in nature (referencing module to utilize factory auxiliary buttons.) It's nowhere near as flexible as an SPOD or SwitchPro that is for sure. Re: Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob

Looming wire with mesh is super easy. Take a coat hanger and straighten it out. Bend a loop on one end and tape your wire to the other. Feed the hanger through the loom mesh and pull the wire through. Add heat shrink after you crimp the connector terminals.

Re: Accessory Fuse Block Recommendations

I'm running a 4th Gen Electronics OEM Aux switch retrofit. I cut off the 1/4" spade terminals and crimped on WeatherPack connectors. The relay block uses up to 30A fuses, I have 15A loaded for LED lights. Downstream fuses are predicated by the accessory and mounted inline. I'm currently only running...

Unlock is a separate button, as apposed to turning the dial back. It may not be different but there is a chance. Let me get them to ask Ram. Suspension was raised 7MM in front per Ram and goes from 521 to 538 RTI. Just a guess, but they may be just fitting the buttons into the form factor of a swit...
