Re: Tool Kit for new Power Wagon

Yes definitely both. A good practice I've gotten into to keep from carrying too much heavy stuff is to only add tools to the trucks kit that I've used to work on it at home. I can completely tear down my whole suspension, steering, wheel/tires, and brakes with a handful of tools that I always have w...

I'm in the process of doing tube bumpers front and rear and expect the sliders will look right at home.

Re: White Knuckle Sliders: Top Plate vs. No Top Plate

I got bare steel and powder coated locally, the finish has held up very well over the years to wheeling and Mother Nature. Did a satin black with zinc rich base. I opted for no top plate to keep one less place for mud and crap to accumulate, however I'm in Texas and don't see snow on the reg either....

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

I'll check it out and let you know will! Man, I thought long and hard about leaving it stripped and caging it now lee lol. I'm putting the interior back in though. Sadly this is still the most comfortable and sensible vehicle I own currently so I'll keep it a nice daily driver. If I want stripped an...

Pulled the interior today in preparation for sound deadening and install of ham radio, gps, air locker plumbing and wiring and fire system plumbing. Seats and carpet are out as well as all interior paneling and the headliner.

Free spin show and tell

AZracer asked me to measure my freespins a few days ago and it seemed like a good idea for its own topic. So post up anything relevant to hub conversions here or ask your questions. I've got the spyntec shorties on the truck now with Yukon hardcore lockouts. Tire and wheel combo is 37x13.50r17 toyo ...

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

AZ- I'll get a measurement for you tomorrow and post up some pics 2wagons- I have a set of dynalocs on the bench so I'll lay them out next to the yukons and measure them, I would love if you could measure the length of your freespins so we can compare overall length against the spyntecs. Maybe I'll ...

That's looking really good man, poly has some cool clamps for running brake lines down tubing, could make it real easy to do your custom lines following the truss

Re: 2010 Improvements

Crown performance is where to get the custom lines, thats who makes them for almost everyone anyway so you can skip the middleman and save a little coin buying direct. I wouldn't go more than +2 on the front lines for a 3" truck, the way the stainless sits on the truck any longer for that ride heigh...

Yeah, dynamat is definitely happening, thanks for the suggestion. Re: Here we go again............

Having worked at a dealership for many years I've learned one very valuable lesson, never believe the bullshit excuse they give for anything lol. He might have just as well said "your bumper fluid reservoir is defective and we had to order a new one". One time another tech tried to drift a new 370z ...
