Haven't ordered them yet but I plan too, have a snatch strap and tree strap from them and the quality is outstanding.

Re: 2010 Improvements

Congratulations on the shocks! You won't be disappointed. When it comes to welding the tubes to the center sections, the rear is relatively easier, the front has seals inside right where you're welding and if you put too much heat into the axle you'll need to replace them which requires pulling the ...

Re: 2010 Improvements

There's no significant performance difference between king and fox on the higher end shocks, six of one half a dozen of the other so to speak. There are proprietary features that may appeal to you and sway your decision (fox has dual speed compression adjusters and King has full sized internal bypas...

Re: Transmission Service...

I went with mag-hytec as well, extra capacity and being finned aluminum offers better radiant cooling properties. Only down side to it is if hit it will crack rather than dent.

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

Patton horns up front and a Thuren style rear. I love the cjc rear bumper, and very curious to see how you integrate the fairlead into the front

You can get 5.38's for the 9.25 and 11.5, I very nearly went with that ratio myself

Re: ARB X-Jack - Alternatives?

Bogert bottle jack setup can get into places most jacks can't and be used in ways quite similar to the x-jack

Also a floor jack on a skid can be slid into pretty tight spots and lift from low on the vehicle

Re: Boogie wagon take 2

Filled up the rear axle today, along with hubs and the ballistic fab cover she took a little over 9 quarts of gear oil lol. Also put 2 gp101 filtermags in there to keep metallic particles from wearing the ARB orings prematurely. Put them in the casting and they're so strong my socket kept sticking t...

Re: Hopefully joining the ranks, opinions please!

If you go into the deal knowing it's likely to need some work I don't see anything wrong with it at all. These 3rd gen wagons are tough trucks, even with a hard life there's not many weak points. The only thing that I think could be likely to take a shit is the transmission and ball joints, If you b...

Re: Is this aam 11.5 worth it?

I didn't see a rear abs sensor like the dodge unit has so you'd have electronic issues to deal with on top of the other things. If you look around you can get a good deal on a dodge rear and save yourself a ton of headache, unless you're just looking for a challenge I'd say skip it.
