Re: Largest stock tire

It is funny how the world sometimes aligns itself to your thoughts. I was driving in to work this morning and thinking to myself "do I really need 37" tires?" I don't do a lot of off road any more, although in the winter I do hit a lot of snow. About that time, another truck pulls up along side me a...

Re: Largest stock tire

I sent emails to Diablosport and Hypertech. Diablo said they were working on one, but no ETA. Hypertech sent an email saying the speedo calibration unit for a 5.7L 2015 2500 would work, but someone else on this board called Hypertech and was told it would not work. I've just gotten used to adding 10...

Front frame offshoots?

I have a 2015 PW. On the front of the frame, about 18" in from the front, there are two frame rails attached to the main frame that drop roughly a foot straight down. They don't appear to be connected to anything other than the frame itself. I am curious as to their intended purpose. Anyone that kno...

Re: Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob

It might not be dead yet. the last thing CajunPW (Shelby) said was he was ordering more parts. I've tried him with PMs and emails from 3 different forums, including this one. No response from him at all. He doesn't show to have logged in on this forum in over a month. I've also tried to contact Myou...

Re: Talk to me about tuners...

Interesting day. So on Saturday morning I went in to my local dealer to have my speedometer re-calibrated for my larger ties. They said the machine they use does not allow them to select a tire based on measurements, rather it has a list of tires from which they can choose. The tallest tire they sai...

Re: Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob

Morgan... I assume you are still hitting the forum regularly, since the user tracker shows you do.... assuming you aren't making the kits any more and neither is CajunPW, would you mind posting a diagram and the part numbers for the kits you made previously?

Re: New Locker List for 4th Gen's

Hi Morgan and hopefully Shelby, I think there might be an issue with the PMs and/or emails from the forum (based on some of the posts in the Vendor section), so I figured I would post here. I have tried to contact both of you using the forum emails and PMs but I am unsure if they are actually going ...

Re: Finally got my 37's!!!!

The studs make suck a difference in winter it's ridiculous. I originally planned on siping my last set but didn't. Their winter performance was better than Toyo at2 extremes on everything including ice. So this is my second set. I will continue to purchase these as long as my truck survives Oh, by ...

Re: AEV Prospector

I'm running the AEV wheels. The bumper and suspension lift are nice, but the PW already had a good winch. I am also already running 37" tires with no lift and minimal rubbing only at full lock. I can't see putting out that kind of cash and not getting some type of major functional improvement. Maybe...

Re: New PW needs bigger shoes!

MT/R's are the best traction tire out there. Tougher that nails... Both the Toyo and Nitto MT's (same company, Toyo) have some major pulling issues as they wear. The Nitto pulls left, the Toyo right. Do a search on the web - it"s a well documented problem. I dumped a set of the Nitto's at 14k due t...

Re: Am I the only one who likes the "work truck" look better

I went Tradesman. Question is, what options do you want? You can go without the decals pretty easily in any package, but can't get a lot of options like leather on a Tradesman. I used the delete badging option when i ordered mine, and then had the dealer remove every stick on badge (2500 HD, Hemi, 4...

Re: Mandated Buy Back ordered for Fiat/Chrysler

Looks like I'm stuck with my truck. I went online and the recall for the airbag doesn't apply to my truck, and I had the tie rod repair already done. Maybe not.... the reason they are forcing the buyback is because the alleged "repairs" in the earlier recalls were found to not be effective. Even yo...
