AEV bumper is just what you need. Pretty much designed for a Cummins.

Re: Mandated Buy Back ordered for Fiat/Chrysler

I think the airbag issue is separate from the buy back, or at least could be separate. My understanding is the buyback was related to steering issues. You might be able to still get the airbag addressed by itself.

Re: Engine cranks but took a while to fire up

That's weird. I've heard of that happening on a hot start where the fuel has boiled out of the fuel line but not cold. Being in Texas what's your cold start temp. When I'm thinking cold I'm thinking way below zero. Fuel draining back shouldnt be an issue as when you turn on the key the fuel pump wi...

Re: UConnect Patch to avoid hack

Do I need to download this through a sd card and place in in the truck, or can I go through the computer scrren inside the truck and download it? Download to a USB drive - you should only have a single .iso file on the drive. Then follow the procedure which has you inserting the USB drive into the ...

UConnect Patch to avoid hack

Guys with newer trucks should probably patch before the kiddies start trying to hack your ride.

I'm just going by the readout in the EVIC for the mpg. I am sure there is a loss of responsiveness, just not much that I have perceived so far.

Re: Aftermarket wheels for 2014+PW

I am sure there is some power loss. It is just not very noticeable on the road. i am sure if I was pulling a trailer or doing some rough off roading it would be more evident. The mileage is the thing that surprises me the most. It is showing an improvement of about 0.7 MPG. This is before accounting...

Re: Aftermarket wheels for 2014+PW

I'm not understanding those heat gun pics... Haha sorry but did you just heat the inner fender liner and push the ridge in? Pretty much. So in the picture, you will see a small channeled portion of the fender liner that runs from top to bottom, extending into the wheel well about 3/4"-1" more than ...

Re: Aftermarket wheels for 2014+PW

Thanks for clearing that up! Now that I know this I am for sure gonna consider this if someone confirms stock wheels fit the same I think you would be fine with stockers, assuming you can get the 37" tire of your choice to fit the wheel. At full lock, you are going to have the same slight rubbing i...

Re: 37s

Diablo sport makes a tuner. I bought it when I bought my truck waiting for updates... Finally got one to find out the OEM ECM can't be tuned on 2015s. You either have to send Diablo sport your ecm to essentially "jail break" it or buy one for $600 in order to tune using there software. There are no...

Re: 37s

Correcting the computer running is more to me then just being off by a few km/hr, I also want to correct it so that my truck still uses its MDS function so I can maintain my 20mpg vs 16 without the MDS. Which exact part of the pinch weld do you guys have to trim? Someone got before and after pics??...

Re: 37s

New wheels and tires installed. Tested to 80 MPH for vibration, looks good so far. Reinstalled the factory flares. Decided to stick with factory flares over the RC flares. The factory flare installation just seems much more durable, even though I wish it had a little more coverage. Note: you will ne...

Re: 37s

All this talk about being able to fit 37s stock on my '15 is making me jealous and want to do it since it's so easy... To bad I'm broke and can't correct my speedo I'm about 5 or 6 MPH's off with 37's... You just get use to going 65MPH in a 70MPH zone... ;) It looks like your tires and the ones I o...

Re: 37s

Just waiting on the wheels to arrive. I'll take a few pictures of the back side of the factory flares to give a better idea of the tape. Essentially it is a 1/4"-3/8" strip that is a little ways down from the top (I think around 1" down, but I can give a better measurement tonight). It runs pretty m...

Re: 37s

Man... the dealerships near me said they won't reprogram for 37's... Only up to 35's... My Trail Ready wheels wouldn't accept the TPMS sensors so I have the light... It bothered me for about a week but I'm over it now... I do get tired of having to see a picture of my truck on my dashboard with das...
