Re: RamBox guys..opinions please.

The "bed-extender/cargo-management" thing comes standard with the RamBoxes; I have not read so much about it. The divider is awesome, though a little chintzy. The hinge pins try to walk out on their own, but just far enough to pop off the trim pieces that cover them up. It's nice to be able to keep...

RamBox guys..opinions please.

You are not gonna like Rambox if: you haul big stuff (4 wheeler, snow machine, etc) you are short (you'll need a step stool to see into them) you expect to get a cap, cover, ladder rack, etc (there is almost no accessory support for Rambox beds) You will love them if you need to organize small gear....

Re: Dual Alt question

On a truck as expensive as a Power Wagon, and especially if you want it "optioned up", it doesn't make any sense to do anything other than order it exactly the way you want it. And you can absolutely negotiate a good deal on a truck order. Use the online build tool to configure exactly the truck you...

It's not unusual for writers to miss things about these trucks. Even the Fiat Chrysler spokespeople get things wrong when they're presenting at media events.

Re: WTF Happened to this truck?

I live in North Carolina and the 1st thing I'm going to ask in Carolina is if a deal looks too good to be true then it must have been a flood vehicle. The people in Canada are the perfect victims to sell a flood vehicle because they won't think about it. I'm saying the flood vehicles leave here and...

Re: How to change TPMS default threshold

What kind of programmer and software version did your friend use? The tool the dealerships use (I think it's called a "witech") got a software update several months ago that took away the ability to change the TPMS. Any dealership's tool should be fully updated, so I'm wondering if your friend had a...

Re: Hopefully buying a PW soon...

Make sure the lockers, bar and winch all work. Those are all prone to electrical problems that an owner that doesn't use them won't know about. Look under the truck for scratches and dents on the frame and skip plate for indication of whether or not it's been wheeled hard. That shouldn't be a deal b...

Re: Ram Rebel TRX Concept

The boobs over at The Fast Lane Truck made a 13-minute video and got the Ram reps to give some details. Ram knows they aren't going to build it, and were trying really hard not to give anything for the press to latch onto. They're not calling it Raptor competition. They're not calling it a Hellcat. ...

Re: Hellcat Rebel with Rear Locker Concept

37" tires are going to kill it. They couldn't even get 35's on the 2017 PWs as an option.

Re: Kill-switch for electronic nannies

The braking component of ESC runs off of the ABS pump, and without the ability to brake the whole system apparently shuts off. I believe I went looking for the fuse once, but the map printed inside the fuse block didn't match the table that was printed in my owner's manual and I didn't have time to ...

Re: For those of you who have the 4th Gen Locker By-Pass

If you accidentally bump the locker switch, you'll have no problems going in a straight line, and realize what you did and fix it when you try to turn. If you try to turn at high speed with the lockers on accidentally, you'll probably less than pleased with the handling. If someone else is driving a...

Re: Expedition One Bumper For Ram

Anyone know if the M15000 is dimensionally larger than the M12000, or just geared deeper? They say their bumper fits 8-12.5k winches. I'd like to see a side pic. I'm wondering how far out it sticks and what it does to approach angle if it's meant to fit an intercooler and a winch. Sent from my iPhon...

I have been wanting the WK sliders since the day I saw them. My only change would be to ask if they can extend the entire length of the tube to match the "kick out" at the bed. My custom sliders have the round tube extending almost 7" out from the square tube. They're perfect for my man-sized feet....

Rear axle locker/limited slip

But don't count on our rear LSD in situations where either wheel has zero traction (ice or up in the air). It won't help at all in those situations - I spent the time and tested it out - the zero traction wheel just spins. Helical LSD's need some torque through the drive shaft to lock up. I can fee...

To get the complete 2016 Ram 2500 owner manual, you will have to call Ram Customer Assistance at 866-726-4636.
Or you can download the full manual for free from Chrysler. Google it.

They ditched that skid plate at the same time they introduced the Center Axle Disconnect. Coincidence? I think not. You could probably modify it for use with a little cutting/grinding/welding.
