Re: 3rd Gen Smartbar Locker Bypass

It's still a possibility, but I'm not holding my breath. I placed an order for some samples from a HK vendor. So assuming those are correct, I'll try and place my big order...

Well, yes, you're pretty much correct. The solenoids take 12V to activate the lockers, but it's how you get there that makes it fun...

Scam or no scam, that sounds like an awesome truck he's looking for! If anyone builds it for him be sure to include a locker bypass kit. HAHA

Re: The official Locker List

Hello myoung84, Is list for a locker bypass so that you can toggle between 2HI and 4LOW and lockup and anytime, or is this for the Hardwired Lockers with OEM Knob? It's both really. It's hardwired with the oem knob but since it no longer goes through three smartbar it will work all the time, not ju...

Re: 3rd Gen Smartbar Locker Bypass

with all the problems with finding the connector, why not make one that has to be spliced in? I know it would be a PITA but i wouldn't oppose it, after all my truck is not exactly new anymore. I'm not opposed to that option, but it's kind of an all or nothing deal though. The absolute minimum quant...

Mine was close to 4k if I recall, which included the "custom tune" and astigmatism correction. I did have some weird stuff going on at night for a few weeks. Night driving wasn't fun for a while. All good now through.

Re: 2017 Raptor

The torque-on-demand transfer case sounds scary in an offroad vehicle. Probably the same clutch based TC that I have in my 1500. Great for driving to the grocery store in the snow, not so much off road. Can you imagine a clutch on the front output shaft on a Power Wagon? Clutches would be burned up ...

Re: 2014 Power Wagon Headlights on a 2012?

He now has ballasts that are better suited for the Rams (they are picky) and has canbus adapters so you don't even have to do any extra wiring. The ballasts and adapters fit inside the headlight housing and makes it a very simple swap.

Re: 2014 Power Wagon Headlights on a 2012?

Talking with Jeremy, the TYC replicas are just as good as OEM. If they would have been available when I had him build my lights, I would have saved a few bucks and went with those, modified of course. ;)

Anyone need a Fluke 87V meter?

I submitted an offer on the one below and it took a couple days to be returned. Meanwhile, I purchased another one that was almost as good of a deal before my offer was accepted. My offer was $200 plus the $13.66 shipping. If anyone needs a great meter, I will go ahead and pay for it and I can ship ...

2014 Christmas Light Show

Decided to go a bit bigger for this year's (or I guess that would be last year's) Christmas lights and move to computer controlled LEDs with music sequences. The tree is made up of 12 strings of LED strips, each with 75 LEDs, so 900 LEDs on the tree alone. 3 LEDs are grouped together to form a singl...

I'm definitely in the 5lb garage with 20lbs of crap category. I would be embarrassed to post pics of what it looked like a week ago. Amazon boxes nearly stacked to the ceiling, LOL. Garage make-over

Finally got my garage cleaned up this weekend and did some remodeling and rearranging. It looked like Christmas exploded everywhere. LOL. I have also been wanting to build a new workbench ever since I started building the locker kits. The old one was 36" tall and only 20" deep. I couldn't sit under ...
