If you have weight distribution and are not leveled you should be just fine.

I agree the horn in these trucks are horrible. They have a delay and it is impossible to just give someone a quick toot. It sounds for like a second, minimum.
Try to give a quick tap tap and see what you get :D
Just a quick tap never seemed to work for me.

Re: Trans Issues - 2016

I have always felt that if the gearing were a bit lower (say 4.56’s or even 4.88’s with the stock tires) then the truck would probably drive and shift so much better (at least to my liking).

However, the shuddering must go now. And that is just the EGR valve?

Re: Trans Issues - 2016

My 16 has 30K on it now and it runs they way it should,,,now. But that was after an EGR valve, the solenoid pack and having everything reflashed a couple of times. I'm finally happy with the way the trans shifts and no surging. Man, wish I could say the same. This tranny has me ready to throw the t...

Re: Towing Capacity

Yea. The dry weight of our travel trailer is 7000 pounds. Even at that, if I was towing it around a lot more than I do then I would be looking into a diesel. The hemi works, but it almost gets annoying with all the revving and gear changing just on the slightest of grades.

The loss you're going to take selling the Power Wagon without locking axles and winch will exceed the cost of lockers and a winch in the new truck. Wiring the electric lockers is simple, it's just positive and negative through a relay.

Thanks guys. I am going to look again. Can somone send me a link for the needle that works for this application? Amazon? I will keep you posted on the trans issues. Dropped the truck off this morning. While it's in there, request that they grease the front driveshaft... just for shits and giggles.

I do poke fun at you, but it's meant to be light-hearted. If it's coming across as mean-spirited I'll stop. No harm intended. I gave up on researching bumpers and have started researching welders. Even the bumpers that claim to be Power Wagon friendly, or winch friendly, are still diesel bumpers de...

3500’s still have leaf springs. Don’t offer air suspension for them that I’m aware of. They have air bag suspension. Believe it's a single leaf spring with air bags. Probably should have used the CTD for this recent trip because it ended out being an overload. But the Power Wagon managed to do the job. Front Axle: 4520 lb Rear Axle: 5400 lb Trailer Axle: 15980 lb Gross: 25900 lb Quick question. There would be a bit less rubbing in that area (if any at all) if the factory wheels were used (or aftermarket wheels with more backspacing than those).

2018 PW: MSRP of $62.8K, discounted to $54.5K including Tread Lightly affiliate discount. It let me absorb a whopping negative equity from a 2018 Challenger T/A 392 that must have been assembled by three year olds.
I wouldnt quite call that absorbing.
