Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

the 2017 Tradesman PW are just like the 2016 Tradesman PW without the sticker on the tailgate (chrome wheels & bumpers, black grill). the Power Wagon (with or without the Leather & Luxury Package) will get the new black grill (similar to Rebel), new black wheels, Black large letters on tailgate, and...

no more Laramie Power Wagon (not for 2017 anyways). So if you want chrome and Power Wagon it doesn't look like it is possible unless you can find a 2016 or older...

Re: 2017 PW Build & Price Available Now

Did a search for 2017 vehicles this morning: Maybe 10 or so 2017 Tradesman trucks with the Power Wagon package on dealer lots; guess there isn't much change from 2016 for those. About 8 +/- PW with the Leather & Luxury packages are "in transit" to dealers, most have window stickers available. Not mu...

Re: Thinking about buying but for some questions

That is about how I feel about the ride of my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 - "harsh". (when empty). This is especially so on rough pavement and at any speed on woods roads. With 1000 pounds of firewood in the back, it rides fine! I did get to test drive a 2014 Power Wagon Tradesman and 2015 PW SLT - both on ...

Re: Chains, I'm from Florida, so ...

In the Pacific Northwest, there are times & places when studs and chains are almost not enough on flat ground; and forget about any hills.... I have seen an inch (or more) of ice on everything. The only good part (besides it being "pretty" to look at from inside) is that it usually melts in a day or...

I saw this in the woods last December 13th - usually it would have been 1/2 buried in snow by then; I was walking but could have driven to it.

Re: Colour Help 2017

The white Laramie's look very sharp, but almost every contractor around here has a white truck and once a vehicle begins to rust I think white is about the worst color to have. Luxury Brown Laramie would probably be best for me. I prefer the look of the 2014-2016 Laramie's in almost any color (US we...

Re: New tires?

Currently have the Cooper STT and am very impressed with them. Work great in mud and surprising how well they work in the snow (don't even bother putting snow tires on any more). Almost bought a set of Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3 on-line (sale/rebates ended Monday) but think I will keep the Coopers ...

Re: Thoughts on the '16 after 10k miles.

I have read more than once that those trucks seem to "wake up" significantly somewhere around 20,000 miles +/- and feel like they gain several additional HP. Hopefully you guys experience this before too long. You can always put in new gears if you really want it to come alive! As far as the visibil...

Re: Finally got one 2016PW

Looks good! Enjoy your new ride! I'd leave the graphics on, especially on that color truck. I've heard the graphics package is worth about $1,000 but don't know if that's true. I know it is a matter of personal preference, but I think that Blue is about the best looking "standard" PW with the graphi...

Re: RamBox guys..opinions please.

there is a lot of discussions / threads about RamBoxes on other forums if you want to read (they are obviously not specific to PW); there are many happy users and a few that had issues. I think the RamBoxes are (would be - as I don't have them - yet) a great solution to store random straps, chains, ...

Re: 2015 power wagon Laramie for sale

I thought that looked like an outdoorsman grill, but then the Ebay add mentioned plastidip I thought you did a great job with that. Guess I should have read more closely. If someone wants a specific grill or part, I would suggest checking at your local Mopar parts (or on-line). That is very good pri...

Re: Michigan neighbors?

Not that far north, but almost. We are not too far out of Houghton to the west. Copper Harbor is too far of a commute for almost everyone here... We do commonly refer to the entire Keweenaw Peninsula as the "copper country". Lots of off-road trails and woods roads up here although some of the timber...

Re: Interco Trxus M/T - Thoughts?

My trucks.jpg I have the Interco TRX-US tires on my 1972 Ford F250 - "Factory High-Boy". Don't recall when, but have probably had them at least 10 years - price was very good at that time; seemed like I got a 10% discount offer via email plus free shipping. Re: where to get stock Mopar parts for my PW?

I needed a new muffler for my 2003; looked all over on-line but just was not convinced I would get something that would work. Finally just had the local Dodge dealer order OEM muffler and paid them to install it. I'm very satisfied with their price and their work - I know many people like to bash (s...

Best of luck in whatever you decide, TwinStick I really thought I wanted an EcoDiesel ever since I heard they were coming out; test drove a few but performance was only so-so and price is about the same as Power Wagon with similar options. Payload is less than a Power Wagon, also. Then I read a few ...

That almost sounds similar to what I have experienced a few times ("limp" mode). I just pull over in a safe spot and shut the truck off for about a minute before restarting it - this has worked every time. I did pull the codes from the self-diagnostics (key on-off sequence) but I didn't learn too mu...
