Re: The Gladiator returns...

How's this for departure angle????

Does your ass end rub on your Lawn when you exit your driveway?

Gotta love a ride with a lil junk in the trunk

Re: The Gladiator returns...

Just like the LJ, Jeep fucked up the departure angle. Theres really only one way to fix that. Shorten the bed up to about 2 feet long. Or extend the wheel base another 2-3 feet. I don't think a serious Jeep truck buyer would complain about a 4' bed since a serious Jeep truck buyer isn't a serious t...

Re: Back Up Camera issue

Turned out to be a bad camera - apparently they have replaced a LOT of them. They claim that they are prone to "getting moisture in them". The original camera's are generally defective and eventually allow moisture in and will fail. (unless you live in a low humidity desert). They are not considered...

If you watch the oil change gauge it actually calculates when to change the oil based upon mileage, using 4x4, speeds, and using tow haul mode. Its quite a good system.
If I followed the oil change gauge I would violate my warranty! Its as simple as that...

Re: 6.4 Burning Oil

^ That is a bit excessive but I love it haha. I drive moderately. Not like a granny but not like Ricky bobby either. 600 miles have been pulling a heavy load on this oil change. 60% highway miles, 30% off road, 10% city. I change it every 3k miles, it's about due for its second oil change so I'm go...

Re: The Gladiator returns...

That Gladiator Rubicon model with 35's, and the 3.0-liter EcoDiesel turbocharged V-6 engine with start/stop and 8-speed transmission is a sweet little truck. Perhaps a little easier to maneuver on switchbacks and tighter trails than our bus-sized Power Wagons! :duel:

Is this specifically for California trucks or are you located in California, just curious. I know that at times there are differences between Cali vehicles and the other 49 states, hence the question.
I think the California version costs $150 and causes cancer.

I liked my orange Chevy. I think a PW in orange would look good.

I guess it’s kinda like avacado colored appliances in your kitchen or pink toilet, tub and sink in your bathroom. :poke:

I’m sure if FCA offered rear-wheel-drive delete on a Power Wagon, someone would order it that way

Re: Back Up Camera issue

Looks like my PW is going to the dealership on Monday to address a blurry backup camera... it's the first issue I've had with the truck. It's been blurry for months now and never seems to improve. I checked for a flash update months ago and there was an update listed - but I didn't have time to dick...

Perhaps that came across harsh - I just see so many leave the PW platform and then come back.

But it's still not too late...

Re: ZR2 diesel test drive & test tow

I wonder why the manufacturer only rates it at 5000 pounds towing? Hmmm that's less than half what my PW is rated to tow. And Much less than the 12,470 lbs that the 6.4 is rated to tow in a standard crew 2500. Just doesn't add up. Sure my CTD tows the same load easier and at lower rpm than my ...
