Re: 37

Most don't care about the biggest tire than can fit by cutting up their truck and spending $$$$ :D For the OP, 12.50 by 37s on a +25 rim will likely only require using a heat gun to push back the plastic front fender liners - and possibly grinding away some of the pinch welds for the larger diameter...

After some thought and investigation, I *think* the problem is the thermostat. I have a new assembly on order and will update this thread when I put it in.

160 psi gauge... :poke:

Swap that gauge out to something more reasonable for a truck tire?

Re: be glad you have a pw

Well, the mechanic who now does most of the work on my PW drives a new F350 diesel and he claims his front and rear e-lockers work first time, every time. Wish I could say that for my PW. Lol, considering that ford doesn’t have anything with a front locker, that IS impressive. But they do have fron...

Re: Anybody build a driveline protection solution that works?

All these "nice improvements" are driving the price of these trucks up to rediculous levels. Everyone on here will agree that the price of the latest loaded Power Wagon is crazy and out of reach for many people. Aside from the rear trackbar setup, most of the new model improvements don't align with ...

Re: Anybody build a driveline protection solution that works?

I don’t know who is having all the problems with the drive line that warranted them to make a change... It must be some cost savings went awry, and now they need to fix a problem they generated. Much like the frame related changes that now require ATM modules

I'm sure the Power Wagon with the soft flexy suspension rides a lot smoother than the stiff suspension Tremor. 8-)

Re: 2012 vs 2019

So reviving an old thread: Against my better judgement I went and drove a 2020 Power Wagon today. Man the interior is worlds better than my 2012! The 8spd auto mated to the 6.4L is smooth, and the truck felt great. It was like driving a refined version of my truck. I’m not sure it’s $35,000 nicer t...

Re: 14+ Possible Fan Clutch failure?

Slightly lower engine temps typically translate into more power and will increase emissions! The increase in power will show as higher mpg. You saw something quite different so you probably had something else going on to shift your mpg. I've never had a clutch fan go bad - but the parts stores sell ...

Re: Heated seat issues...

The seats can't generate moisture on their own... Somehow your seats got wet and soaked up some water. Turn both seats on the high level heat and let them bake out the moisture. I've never had this issue - and my heated seats are on for half the year up north here. I've also never heard of anyone el...

They've demostrated they don't even know how or when to use those systems. Some of their earlier videos, they're turning on the front and rear lockers on a dirt road for ZERO REASON. I agree with you. I like those guys, but I cringe a lot becuase yeah. They don't know what they're doing. And it's d...

The factory engineers undoubtedly spent a lot of time matching up the muffler and resonator to minimize exhaust noise over the rpm range.

Re: Improving fuel mileage

When DiabloSport finally released support for our 6.4, I contacted them about potential Hp or fuel mileage gains. They had several dyno charts showing about 20 Peak Hp gains with 93 Octane on a stock truck, but indicated that any fuel mileage gain would typically be less than 1mpg no matter which tu...
