Re: Wench mount broke

Welp per chrysler ordering the winch mount for 2018 and older has been discontinued Dealer is full of it, it would show as discontinued on this dealers website but does not. I'd call Chrysler customer service to find out if this is true or just the dealer trying to get out of doing warranty work on...

Re: Mopar Ignition Coil Redesign

Did you notice a difference after replacing the coils? Yes, I did actually. I felt a slight bump in throttle response, low end torque and MPG, overall the engine feels smoother. I don't know if it was because I replaced coils with a lot if miles on them (even though there were no codes/issues) or t...

Not sure how large the diameter of the hole or where it is, could it be drilled and tapped out and put a small bolt with teflon tape on the threads in the hole? This would be a strong, reliable fix.

Popping reversing out of a parking spot is 100% guaranteed a loose drivers side track bar bolt.

Re: SoCal 2017 owner

Hi from Southern California, bought my 17 PW in July of 2017 and just love my truck. It's my 3rd Dodge truck, had 96 1500 regular cab Indy 500LE, a 98 Dakota worst truck ever and now my PW all stock. Looking to get tires soon so any suggestions would be appreciated. 2017 PowerWagon no mods Red, Ram...

Re: Part # Verification

I did some searching online and the best I can tell is all 10.5 AAM rear axles with Tru-Lok differentials (only power wagons) use that part but I would take Retired BLM Rig's advise and have a dealer double check.

Mopar Ignition Coil Redesign

After 175k miles I replaced my original 07 ignition coils today with a fresh set of mopar coils and was surprised to see they have been redesigned. They added a small insert presumably to improve electrical current flow between the coil and the spring to the plugs I personally have not seen this on ...

Re: New 2005 Power Wagon Owner

Hey guys! Excited to find this forum and have a power wagon finally. Like most I have the following issues: 1. My SERV 4x4 light is on, my RR locker switch blinks fast and never engages and so does my sway bar disconnect. 2. My four wheel drive works and my rear locker seems to work as well. But I ...

Re: Greetings from a new 2018 Power Wagon owner

Hello, welcome congrats o the new PW you made a great choice. I don't know if I agree that suspension squeaks are normal on a new truck, it would not hurt to have the dealer check it out might be something loose. When my truck was new I had a similar problem turned out the rear shocks needed to be t...

Re: thermo temp 2007 ?

203 is the OEM temp, the OEM thermostat is made by Gates # 34053 rockauto as them for $10.45 compared to Mopar # 52028898AI which the dealer sells for $41.60. It's a good idea to replace the thermostat housing when do the thermostat I've seen the paint peel off of the inside of the housing and get i...

The ZR2 is a great little truck I can't wait to see some pics, I bet the hardest thing to adjust to will be the small size other than that I think you made a wise choice. Just don't forget to pull that airbag fuse before you go off road!

Re: Front Diff Blow Up

Supposedly the Carli arms "move the front axle 2" forward". Seems that would change some of the geometry in the diff as the attaching driveline distance is now changed - yes/no? Carli arms a 1/2" longer than stock and will not negatively affect the steering geometry. I've had mine on for over 10 ye...

Re: PW stalls after refueling

Don’t fill your gas tank with 35 gallons immediately before needing to drop it out of the truck if you can... Oh that is funny. Has anyone ever had a fuel pump fail when the tank was low? I believe this is in the Murpheys Law Book. I had 1/4 tank of gas in mine when the pump failed and it still was...
