Re: Rausch Creek 2020 10 Year Anniversary

Besides the cost, just dealing with insurance companies and body shop is a pita. Coincidentally, I am finally getting an "umpire" mtg today to deal with roofing damages that happened during an unprecedented wind storm we got....a year ago! F'n State Farm.

Cheap tool of the day

Feel free to post your tool failures here. So here's my tool fail of the day. This one should come as no shock to you that it was bought at that "discount tool" retailer. Don't trust your knuckles to their extensions. I would like to think this was from my brute strength, but it gave out way too eas...

Thanks guys for the suggestions. Will consider both. Don't want to derail the build. Looks good man.

Re: 2012 New to Me!

Hmmm. Giving me ideas for my '13. So is the Monstaliner like a rubbery bedliner type coating, or is it more of a hard plasticy coating? I've been thinking about coating my rocker panels and Maple sliders with something textured.

Re: Swaybar moved to passenger side?

Thanks guys. I ordered the spacer plate and I will see what happens. I don't have any extra lift on mine, but I added a Thuren track bar. I set it the same as the factory one. I did add 315's so do you think the added height would cause that change? Tires size will not effect this. Sent from my Mot...

Re: Swaybar moved to passenger side?

It’s probably due to your axle not being centered, and the swaybar links pushing the bar over as you drive. If that’s the case it’s a side affect of a trackbar system where with your lift the axle doesn’t stay dead-center to the frame. My truck did the Ana Erving but it was never an issue. I put mi...

Re: Swaybar moved to passenger side?

I put a DOR brace on my '13 wagon. Mine did the same thing. I put the extra plate in. I felt that difference exaggerated the issue a bit, plus it was a major OCD violation for me. For some reason the bar sits a little passenger side. Mine self-clearanced a bit on the wrap around part of the bracket ...

Re: SimonandSimonBeast Build

One other thing I should have mentioned is that at regular ride height, my 37"x13.5" on 17"x 9" +20 mm offset rims were rubbing pretty hard on the passenger side swaybar at full lock. Since the adjustment, there is ZERO rubbing at normal ride height on anything. I don't have info when articulated, b...

Re: SimonandSimonBeast Build

Derrrr...I just realized I didn't need to say "at ride height". Let's just say it is 39.75". Lol.

Re: SimonandSimonBeast Build

At ride height it measures just about 39.75" bolt center to bolt center. So, 5/8" longer than Thuren recommendation. This brought the axle over a bit but not totally centered. It looks more like where everything sat when I first installed everything. I'll have to put it through some rigors to see if...

Do those sliders require drilling of the frame, or do they clamp on like White Knuckle sliders? Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk Clamp on. 4 connection points per slider.
