Re: Replacing OEM parts already

Idler pulleys are a common thing, especially if the touch water in any way. Dodge put cheap bearings in them. The good news is that they are cheap and are a fast easy fix. I keep a spare in my tool box as insurance.

After you get it all fixed up, don't forget to liberally apply a thick coating of Fluid Film!

I may have already posted this on this or another forum; but here is my 2007 with 100 rolls of sod at almost 35 pounds a roll = 3500 lbs
These trucks are way underrated! The only issue you will every get load wise, is with a government bean counter with a scale.

We are becoming a bunch of old retired guys. I've decided that may last day is 1/31/16. :excited: The reason for the date is that I get all of my vacation time (208 hrs), plus all of the company's money for my HSA, and my bonus. Congrats Russ! My last day is May31, 2022. (not that I...

Re: EBC YellowStuff or the new Extra Duty Pads?

I have had the EBC Yellowstuff pads with their slotted and dimpled rotors on the Wagon for a year now. They are spendy, but are light years ahead of the OEM pads and rotors. The stopping force that they can apply seems to be hugely superior. Also, no squeaks or squeals. I recommend them highly. P.S:...

Re: 2015 at Truck Pull

Well.... I ran the 5.7 for a few years. Stayed at 6000-6500 rpms. It did well in street stock. Now having the 6.1 motor. The crank is still the factory crank, just balanced to 9000 rpm. I have more in the heads than anything. I'm limited on the factory tuning.... Only fuels to 7000 rpm Only to 7000...

Re: Production numbers?

Wow this thread has taken a turn for the worse. Some people just leave others shaking their head in disbelief.... I apologise to the Registry for my part in this. I got upset at being mocked and derided by one individual that could not seem to have a civilized discussion about a very minor subject....

Re: Production numbers?

3.7 million Power Wagons made last year eh? That's more than Chrysler's production of all vehicles combined. As I have stated earlier, you are entitled to believe whatever you like; it does not bother me. What I have had a problem with is your ATTITUDE and SMARTASS comments. On this board we have al...

Re: Production numbers?

My PW was built in Feb 2015, the last four of the VIN is 6395. Do you know what that means? VIN codes have been debated on here and the other site for years---what we learned over time is that the ARE NOT SEQUENTIAL like you think. Off the top of my head the number of '05's made was around 2200. In...

Re: My new 2015 power wagon

I still have my 06 with the 6 speed stick. I love it, it's a real truck, not an Escalade with a box on the back. I'm not saying new PW are Escalades, but that seems where new trucks are heading. Can you even get a stick shift anymore ? I don't plan on getting rid of my 06. As far as speed and or ac...

My wife's been jocking for one... Seems to be popular with the lady set. They are very nicely done on the inside. My wife likes it because they are a little higher than a car, and it has a hatch in the back. I've never figured out why women love hatches so much. But I've never figured women out in ...

Cherokee

I just sold my 2011 Ford Taurus SHO, and bought my wife a new fully loaded 2015 Jeep Cherokee Limited (Active Drive 2). I went with the Limited over the Trailhawk because if I have any serious offroading to do I will take the Wagon. I did want the Active Drive 2 for the low range, even though it wil...

Re: Bilstein 5100, or Fox 2.0 Shocks?

I have had 5100's on mine for 2 weeks now and am very happy with them. The ride is a touch firmer, but the truck does not wallow as much in the corners now. I went with the 5100's over the Fox's because when I am off road it is a slow crawling pace rather than the dessert runner style. For me the 51...

Re: Synergy Mfg. Suspension

Thanks. That's pretty important information. I'm not sure I'm ready for all of that change to the stock config. Maybe for step one I should just go control arms, track bar, steering stabilizer, and some shock (Bilstein 5100's or their next step up if it doesn't create additional needed tweaks) so t...

Re: New Front End

Update. Finally got all my front end work done earlier this week. New Carli ball joints, new Carli trac bar, Bilstein 5100 shocks, as well as the Carli notched control arms. When the truck was on the rack, we also discovered that the steering linkage was completely shot, so we put in the new updated...
