Thanks Colibri, Not sure if the front bumper is going to fit my 05 right though. It has the rounded headlight bottoms unlike yours that are squared off.

Re: Powerwagon Ike gauntlet

I just went over Eisenhower tunnel last week with only luggage and passengers and my 05 was not great but ok. revving out at 5k rpm's kept my speed up to 60-65 mph all the way up. Still had little 6 cyl rice burners blowing by me at 75 mph though. I figure if I really wanted uphill/towing power, I w...

Both rear door wiring harnesses are shot! Time to pull it all apart and redo the wiring. Anybody have any advice on how to prevent it from happening again too soon after I rewire the whole thing?

Re: school me on load ranges please

Ply rating... This does NOT tell you how many layers are in a tire carcass or how stiff that carcass is going to be. It is a left over designation from the bias ply tires days when they actually did have those number of layers. C,D and E rated tires have the same weight capacity in the same range a...

Re: school me on load ranges please

Load range D is an 8 ply tire and load range E is 10 ply = stiffer sidewall and more carrying (load) capacity. I have had both and currently running load range E 35x12.5x17 Cooper STT's. I honestly can't tell the difference in ride quality. One of the reasons I bought them was because of the 10 ply ...

If I were in the market for a smaller truck, I'd be looking at a new Chevy Colorado crew cab short bed Z71 with the diesel option.
