Re: Winch works 5 seconds or less

When you fixed it. Pack de-electrical grease in the plug socket. It will keep the socket connections from rusting out. Make sure you get the back of the socket too.

Re: Torn Bicep Muscle

Went back to work today. Light duty until 12/22 with a 10 lbs limit. That's when I go back to the surgeon. Still going twice a week for rehab. Up to 5 lbs curling with 30 reps. Getting some strength back. Still have some issues twisting my wrist.

Re: Krown...Rust Check.... Fluid Film

I would have to POWER wash the underside of mine to get all of the mud off before I could do that. I'm still dropping mud from last month.

Re: OIl pressure sending unit on a 5.7

Right above the oil filter I found this video on youtube it's not the best but you can get the gist of it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qZCHUBEQPpI Yeah, when I did the oil change yesterday. I thought that was it. Thanks! Have to get a tee fitting now for both the stock and the SpeedHut sender.

Re: OIl pressure sending unit on a 5.7

What are you tracking that sees oil pressure like that? My Nismo, with a 3.7L V6. Cold start sees 105 ~110 psi. Warmed up idle is 38 ~ 40 psi. Pressure starts to climb as rpm's climb. At 3,000 rpm. I'm seeing 105 psi. 8,500 rpm's is about 130 psi. The Nissan 3.7L V6 is a high oil pressure motor bec...

OIl pressure sending unit on a 5.7

I'm being some what lazy. Where is the oil pressure sending unit on a 3G 5.7? Is it down by the oil filter? Or someplace on the block? I have a SpeedHut 0 to 100 psi oil pressure gauge that I couldn't use on my track car because it runs over 120 psi at times. So I'm going to use the 100 psi gauge on...

That kit is designed for regular 2500 and 3500. Not the PW pre say. The PW is an afterthought because the parts fit.

Re: Any Ordering Advice

When I ordered my PW. It took 6 weeks. It took 1 week to go from Mexico to Buffalo Ny. Then it sat in a rail yard there for 2 weeks. I offered to go and pick it up there. The dealer said that I couldn't do that.

Re: Idle Up Feature for winching

My '09 motorhome with a 6.7 Cumins has this. It's simple to use. Start engine, engage cruise. hold foot on pedal at the rpm you want, hit the speed hold on the cruise. And you're set. To disengage. Hit brake pedal.

Glad to see this on the trucks now.

Re: Can the steering be made right?

On my '08. I had to replace the steering box. It went bad in Moab one year. After that. I have replaced the linkage like you. Y to T. Changed ball-joints. Installed the Carli's. Have a modded PSC steering brace on. RCV axles. DynaTrac FreeSpin hubs. My steering is tight. One thing that I have notice...
