Re: Cactus Red's Build - 2009 Power Wagon

Our Outdoors RV 24 KTS was tow-able with the PW, but getting under 6 MPG doing so just isn't practical. We have purchased a 4x4 2017 Cummins 2500 MegaCab to replace Cactus Red. So, my time here, even as limited as it has been for the last few years, is over. I will be posting the truck in the For S...

You was in the 'burgh. Should have let me know. I'm about 1 hour south of there.

The 7100's with the Carli Hemi valving was a good shock until I blew one out on the rear. Looking at the Thuren kings now.

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam

Ok, throwing my 2 cents in here. When you go out of the states. Diesel fuel is cheaper then gasoline. Some places it's a lot cheaper. That's why you see more diesel vehicles overseas. As for the price of the Ram 2500 in Australia. $70,000 USD priced truck is 96,096.35 AUD. Plus Duty 5%, + GST 10%, +...

Pretty sure it’s gear rollover. A lot of g56 guys run gorilla juice and/or slightly overfill.
Twinsticky runs something like a 50/50 mix of ATF and gear lube.

Welcome to the forum! The PW is the most capable production truck in the world, straight off the assembly line. Every other truck has to be modified just to meet its list of standard equipment. It’s a good choice. Thank you for your service at home and abroad sir! :patriot: 2X Bone stock PW's have ...

Re: Blinking Rear Diff Light in 2WD

I posted this in another thread. I'm starting to think about my locker issue I had this summer. I have a Rock Crusher diff covers on both front and rear. But they are almost the same shape as the stock covers. The only real difference is that the fill plugs are higher on the Rock Crushers. The issue...

Re: Pro Cal Disaster 2018

I’m planning to step up to 35s soon and the procal is the only way I know of to correct the speedo. Don't know if there is anything special about the 2018, but most tuners that I have looked at have the ability to adjust tune and shift points for tire size. I use an Edge on my '05, and the Edge dis...

AEV's hardware looks terrible. For the money they should use better bolts. All grade-8’s aren’t the same. Living in the rust belt is tough on vehicles, and I can’t live my life through a bottle of fluid film. The factory bolts are M8-1.25x23mm Grade 10.9. I recently broke off a Grade 8 front diff b...

Rebuilt the front brake calipers on the PowerWagon today, and installed stainless brake lines too. Big difference in pedal feel. Took a whole quart and a half of Dot 4 brake fluid to bleed the front calipers. The stainless brake lines are from KLM. At +3" over standard 2500. https://www.klmperforman...

I've replaced the rotors with EBC rotors and use EBC YellowStuff pads on my 3G. I can lock up the brakes at will. Getting ready to change out the brake lines with stainless. You guys with the newer 4G's. I would start with a pad change. Stay away from a lifetime pads. Go with EBC's, or Carbotech's.
