More pic's. Had to use a sawzall to cut through most of the control am bolts. The alignment adjustment bolts were seized. in the bushings. I used all new bolts.

Re: Rusty's PW Journal

Nice job! I bought the Thuren arms, but they're still in the box. I should have got these things. I may still do it. I definitely need the Thuren shackles. The ones I have are a little short. Do you Kno how the Thuren soft ride coils compare to the Carli progressive coils? The Thuren coils are a lo...

FS Carli 6" Stainless Brake Lines. 03 to 11

As the title says. Carli 6" Stainless Brake Lines. Brand new, never used, never installed. I installed the Thuren 3" Softride springs. Figure that the 6" lines would work. But they're about 2" too long for me. New price is $170.00. I'll let them go for $100.00 plus shipping. Also have new alignment ...

Re: Rusty's PW Journal

Some skid marks. I had to pry the opening apart so that I could change the control arm. I had ripped the front bolt out when I got stuck on a boulder. I replaced the one bar and changed all of the mounting bolts to a button head 3/8-16 stainless. I had the grind the heads off all the stock b...

Re: Rusty's PW Journal

After this last trip to Rausch Creek. I have to replace a few things. Bent both lower control arms. So I got the Carli fabbed ones. Also going this far. I changed the front springs to the Thuren 3" softride. They raised the front up a good 2.5".

Just curious which route you’re going to choose, repair or hardwire your lockers?

The stock bumper on my 3G has taken 3 separate shots from deer. One at 80 mph right into the winch. My Aluminess bumper has taken 3 shots from deer, and you can't even tell.
You need a deer whistle mounted to a train horn.
Deer around here are suicidal.

Re: New truck ordered 2018

I am assuming this is one of 5 Million reasons they are shutting down Mexican operations. Delivering product will be a lot faster and cheaper when you do not have to deal with cross border logistics from Mexico. This is also why some believe the new trucks from Mexico have issues. The workers know ...

If you install the thuren front springs, do you have to add a new track bar or anything else? Thanks in advance
If you install Thuren 3" springs. You will have to add a trackbar to get the axle centered under the truck. The length would be about 39 1/4".
