Re: Electric sway bar (smartbar) disconnect. Electric bypass

That's a cool idea Rob-Pod. It is still working great. RustyPW yes the board inside the smartbar is different but the internals are the exact same. Two black wires to run the magnet and a red and a white to run a motor. I can't wait tell it gets a little warmer and I can do some more rock crawling....

Re: No lights in the Locker Knob.

I’m working on building a locker bypass that will power and use the factory dash knob without a functional sway bar. If I’m successful you can return the unit you already have and I’ll retrofit it with the new wires and components required free of charge. I should know more by the end of next week....

Re: No lights in the Locker Knob.

Do they know exactly the fault? Did the fuse blow again? Did they do a wire conduction test? Sent from my rotary phone using Tapatalk The fuse never blew. First time said that it it was a bad connection at the plug. The power wire was coming out and they redid it. The 2nd time, they said it module ...

Re: No lights in the Locker Knob.

Well.........this didn't last long. The lights went out again. The dealer traced the problem back to the smartbar. There is no power coming out. Dealer wants $1,200 for a new bar. Anyone has a good place to get one. Isn't your truck covered by a lifetime warranty? If they try to tell you that the w...

Re: 2013+ truck steering nut recall?

Here's the problem I see in welding the nuts. If you have to get an alignment later. Someone is going to grind the weld off, to be able to recenter your steering wheel. Then do they have to reweld the nuts again? What happens if you take it someplace other then a dealer? What happens if the gu...

Re: Power Wagon Parts

I am am going to be pulling the engine on my 06 impreza wagon in the next little bit and have been thinking about little modifications that I could do to the car. I'm thinking of putting a cold air intake, headers and maybe upgraded clutch. What would be a good air intake to go with? Also for exhau...

Yup! We got a Outdoors RV 27bhs. The finance guy is actually a member on here and has a 06 PW. I added on board air, Airlift 5000s and daystar cradles.
Who was the member?

Re: Uh, oh!

What ever you decide to do. That area HAS to be CLEAN! So as you apply heat to it. Oil will come out of the metal for a while. And you can't braze or weld until the oil is gone. Use a burr bit to clean the area down to shiny metal.

Re: WK Slider Options

you could order the sliders with the top plate, and spray the entire top of the plate with linex, new black steel it coating for the rails themselves. touch up on the sides and undersides of the slider with Steel it would be extremely easy. with the right prep, any unscathed steel it should last an...

Looking at BDS lift. Or after looking at Fab Fours Open Fender system I might try and fabricobble my own version haha, still can't believe they want 4.3K for the set up with that amount of body work... Put either of those on your truck and https://media.tenor.com/images/4d8a68b4af4dc2f7817484e2975f...

Re: WK Slider Options

Once powdercoat gets nick, or scratched. It's done for. I use bedliner in a spray can for my rockrails. The bottom gets scrapped up. I mask off and respray the area. It's a lot cheaper and last longer then powdercoating or LineX.

Re: Not a PW owner ... YET!

I ordered the “Tradewagon” Say it with me now, “I ordered my Power Wagon...”. The running gear is what makes a Power Wagon what it is. The trim level of the cab sitting on top of it is irrelevant. The mouth breathers who think trucks are defined by what stickers get put on them can keep that real/f...
