Re: The Current Classic Project

I do miss the days when it was common for the gas cap to be behind the license plate... I don't know about that. We used to smear grease a long the top of the plate. So when you went to open the gas cap. You pulled down the plate. You got a handful of grease. That was YOU???? Yep!!!!! ...

Had a couple of 370z's with over 1,000 hp running. A lot like me was around 500 hp to 700 hp. Had a bunch o...

A lot of people tend to forget which side of the double yellow line they are supposed to be on as well.
Police won't get you for speeding as much as to crossing the double yellow. They will nail you.

The fun police are everywhere, not just NY State. Didn't see one cop on the Dragon the whole time I was on it this year. Was running 90...

Tail of the Dragon

Leaving tomorrow morning. Going to Deals Gap NC. Tail of the Dragon. Have a big Nissan Z car meet next weekend. I'll be here from Wednesday night to Sunday night. Staying at the Fontana Village. Should be a fun time. Tons of twisty roads. This makes my 4th time there. Last years run. https:...

So I finally managed to get out to the midwest and chase. So far it has not disappointed. The last couple of trucks. I kept them until they was almost dead. So for me going with the RCV's, Carli ball joints, and Dynatrac freespin hubs made sense in a way for me.

Re: Axle U-Joints

Which Spicer's did you use? 5-3212X looks like the right ones. Those RCV's are trick, but for $2300 I can buy a lot of U-joints... Hell, I can buy ball joints, a track bar, u-joints, and rock rails all for less money, or new U-joints and a free spin hub kit... As for ball joints, EMF are about $520...

Re: Axle U-Joints

The 2 gen Carli trackbars doesn't use a welded on thread bung. The heim joint is drilled and threaded into the bar it's self. And uses a bearing instead of a bushing on the frame mount. Pictures in my build thread.
