Re: THE BIGGEST TIRE YOU CAN FIT

I asked about the rear axle, rear tires. Not the front end. Plus I'm waiting on the hydro assist video. Yeah the rear axle moved forward as it compresses. 37’s will just rub the fender flare at full articulation. That's what I wanted to know. Thanks. If Mikey is there with you. Plea...

Used to wheel a lot in Rausch , is there trails wide enough for us ? It has always been geared toward Jeeps.
We surprise a lot of people when we show up. I got a few pinstripes. We did Topless for Tata's trail a few years back. That was tight.

Re: THE BIGGEST TIRE YOU CAN FIT

When you flex the rear axle. Does the axle pivot forward on the up swing. On the 3G's with leaf springs. A 35" tire will hit the front lower part of the wheel well at full flex. Wonder if it's the same with the coil springs.

Re: Diff Protection AAM 10.5/9.25

Forgot to update. I decided on Purple Cranium Spider protection. They should be in transit starting yesterday. I appreciate all of the input from you guys. Right now I like the idea of the outer sacrificial guard with an OE diff cover beneath. We will see how this holds up to PA jagged boulders. I ...

The only ball joints that was out when I replaced mine was the Carli's. Have over 50,000 miles on them. They're still tight. The bottom one a bitch to grease tho. If you can't get the EMF ball joints. Look into the Carli.

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?

Without question, 2005 is the best year. Why I haven't had to put more than a new battery in it in 15 years. Might need some tires here soon though... 15 years on a set of tires :jawdrop: Must not be Duratrash! If the oem BFG. They're dry rotted to hell and back. I have 5 of them sitting in my gara...

Re: Rusty's Build - 2008 POWER WAGON RC

Have the new Hemifever 87 octane e-tune down loaded into the PW. Damn....feels like a new truck. Got a lot more low end torque. Gas mileage is going up, if I can keep my foot off the loud pedal. Once I burn through this tank of 87, and 2 tanks of 93 octane. I'll do the 93 e-tune. My truck always fel...

$3,000 for the winch. Can order with the truck, or have it dealer installed.

Re: Diff Protection AAM 10.5/9.25

RockCrushers, call 330 397 1358. They might still be in business. Each diff cover is made out of cast steel, and weight about 20 lbs each. I've bounced mine off of some pretty big boulders. I had to do some grinding on the front cover so that the dampener bracket would clear. Solid makes a 9.25 fron...

Just seeing if these bulbs help brighten things up. Anybody else hate pulling off the plastic cowl and the grill just to change bulbs. Let's see...one of the middle grill clips busted...other half busted and I was being gentle. The passenger side white slider clip that you reach from the wheel well...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?

Nice! How is the shifting? That’s what Is pushing me to tune the truck mostly. It's shifting better. The one condition I had was when I was slowly down to almost a stop, and then speed back up. The tranny seemed to hunt, and had a delay in the response to the gas pedal. That's all gone now. Doesn't...

Re: What did you do to your PW this week?

The Diablosport tuner really woke my PW up. Feels like I'm driving another truck. Sent some logs to Hemifever to let him do some adjusting on the tune. The tuner isn't the easiest thing to use tho. It has a learning curve to it. How many tunes from Hemifever do you get? And I’ve heard peop...

The LED bulbs make a difference at night. Ram blew it when they designed these headlights tho. Piss poor reflector design. My '99 Sport had the best set of headlights that I ever had.
