Re: Lockers in 4HI

Probably better to use low power wires from the switches to relays, then bigger wire from the relays to the lockers. The switches should be powered by a source that only comes on with the ignition and you should have a way of cutting power to the relays(eg: pulling a fuse) to avoid activating the lo...

Re: Anyone care to guess?

Installed mine on Tuesday. Bit of a pain in the ass because I did not have a box end wrench big enough to fit so I had to use an adjustable wrench and a 24mm socket. Do yourself a favor and buy 2 1/4" long bolts and save yourself some turns tightening the stover lock nuts. Probably really could use ...

If you are looking for an onboard air compressor then I'd suggest the ARB dual motor / dual cylinder 13 volt compressor. It produces 90 PSI and is a 100% duty cycle compressor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk How long does it take to air up from 20 to 60psi? I am leaning towards these guys with ...

[quote="DamageWagon"]6.5 Mauser, do you have an old Swede? Yes, it was "sporterized" (shortened barrel, turned down bolt, synthetic stock) by Kimber years ago when they were still in Oregon. I had an FFL back then and could order guns and have them sent right to the house. No paperwork needed if the...

Re: Reloading Bench

I have been using Dillon re-loaders for some time. Started with a 550B 20 years ago and it's still going strong. I'm using it for .45, .38. .222 Remington, and 6.5X55 Mauser. Last year I upgraded to a 650 for 9mm and .223 and have easily put out more than 20,000 rounds since Nov. mostly .223. Some f...

"It just would not lock up"
Kind of Sh*tty that the lockers don't work when you need them.
Hardwire them, they work any time near instantly

Healing slowly, finally got the OK to walk on it after 6 weeks. What a relief to be able to walk to the toilet instead hopping or using the knee scooter. Sometimes it may be easier (though not easy) to back up alternating switchbacks rather than try to make the turn. It is amazing how wide our trucks get on narrow shelf roads!
It helps to have a good spotter also.

Re: More Questions...missing parts

The thing is that the stock set-up is not all that great and you might be spending a lot of time and money to restore a system that is full of failure prone sensors and "safeguards" that will prevent the lockers or sway bar from working.
Keeping it simple will let everything work when you want it to.

Have you considered hard wiring the lockers? Easy to do and works almost instantly. I'm not sure if these fit 4th Gen trucks, but easy enough to find out: https://www.offroadevolution.com/product/evo-mfg-nolimits-manual-rubicon-swaybar-disconnect-jk-jku/ Chasing wiring gremlins can be frustrating an...
