Re: The phoenix rises from the ashes

I'm thinking perhaps for the migration to occur sometime in November. There's a loose plan in place.

I'll also look at what Mike Key suggested, https://xenforo.com/ to seen how it compares to vBulletin.

Re: Rausch Creek 2017

Ace. you do NOT need a new fuel tank skid plate! You can bend it back out with a large crescent wrench and a piece of pipe on the end of it for leverage. Don't even have to remove tit from the truck. I'll try that before I order anything. Maybe tomorrow night. My concern is that it's literally push...

Re: Rausch Creek 2017

Damage assessment: Driver side fuel tank skid plate is pushed up against the tank. I asked a couple friends about removing it and straightening out by driving over it, as Peter suggested, but I got some dumb looks saying that is high grade stamped steel requiring an industrial press. ...

Re: Rausch Creek 2017

We made it home in one piece. Jake is wooped! He parked himself in front of the door and hasn't moved. With Mike's help. We got the hot water heater working again in the motorhome last night. It was a 20 amp fuse for the control power. Ace, Peter made the ice cream. Not Chris. Where was...

Re: Rausch Creek 2017

I made it home ok, as well. I had a blast, too. It was a great time, lots of fun, and most of all, spent it with great people! I am honored to know you all! Saturday night's seafood boil was delicious. Loved it! ANd that banana flambe that Stephanie made, with Christine's home made ice cream, was aw...

Re: Rausch Creek 2017

How about filet mignon to compliment the seafood boil? Since the seafood boil will be a lot of food, I can get a small filet chunk and slice up small steaks for everyone to compliment the boil.

Re: Lost my best buddy last night

We still have Jake. Jake is a total opposite of Cooper. Cooper was my athlete. He would run until he dropped, then get back up and do it a again. He used to run laps around the back yard. Jake would sit there and watch Cooper run. Not moving an inch. I'll call Cooper and he come right now. I call J...

Re: Set up a chat room?

IRC works well. Loads of web clients (mibbit, cgi:irc) that can be embedded on webpages. Not sure about username integration with an existing forum database... Services (nickserv, chanserv) allow registration of usernames and channels on the server/network. And for those of us that idle in there al...

After researching it more, I see that Slack has an issue with full phpBB integration, which points to an external discussion area out side of the forum. https://www.phpbb.com/community/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=2339831 There are phpBB direct full integration options providing more of an IRC type channel ...

Re: Set up a chat room?

Thanks for the info. I'm familiar with how the invite part works. I'm in agreement that it must be private. I think it may be a good value-add but only as an integrated phpBB solution to utilize forum IDM for ease of access, including branding that everyone currently identifies with. Thanks, Mike. I...

Re: Set up a chat room?

That's what we need to evaluate, return on investment, and in this case, investment on the time to install, configure, testing, maintenance, etc. I'm sure once it's installed, it just runs itself. As a professional in the field, what are your thoughts as if you were the PM for this?
