Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

No go on the PW. Bank wanted another $8k on top of the $4k I already had to get my payments where I wanted them. Sucks but oh well.

Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

In fact I was messing with said handle and turned it and now it won't go back to where it was when I started fooling with it. When you throw it in "free spool mode", sometimes it won't simply flip back. Either pull some cable out or bump the motor and then she'll want to go back into go gear and le...

Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

Really the only options I want is power seats with memory and a power sliding rear window. Both of the ones I looked at had the non-tow mirrors but those can be upgraded and with the bundle of wires under the seat I'm wondering if it's like my Ford - all the same harness just some features aren't us...

Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

That's not bad.

I'm heading tonight to try for a '15 tradesman with Rambox even though I'd prefer the Laramie I can't justify $9000 for the upgrades - most of which I never use.

Re: 6.4 real world MPGs

Thanks. Don't know why I didn't see that thread on the MPGs.

I'm planning to use the truck for both personal as well as a future business truck cleaning property where the extra off road abilities are a plus (used my '08 for the same business)

6.4 real world MPGs

I'm thinking on buying one of the PWs that a local dealer has but for the life of me I can't seem to find anybody who has posted any MPGs. I know these things aren't exactly super fuel friendly. Just curious as to folks who have them - my '08 PW got 14-15 on 35s unloaded.

Re: Superchips vs Diablo

Yeah they don't list the 2500 as having a Hemi (at least for the 2008s) and I don't know if there would be a big differance between the stuff for a 1500 and a 2500 aside from the MDS stuff. I think I might just go with a Superchip.

Re: Superchips vs Diablo

"Most Predator part numbers are are being replaced by and supersede to Diablosport's newest handheld: the inTune. The inTune comes with all the preloaded tunes and has the same available adjustment as the Predator did for this application in a much smaller and easier-to-use device. See the inTune pr...

The price tag was a big issue on that as well.

I thought the Predator was no longer being made or am I wrong?

Re: Superchips vs Diablo

I have never used a tuner in the gasser world so thats all new to me but the Superchips I used in my PSD was great aside from a surge issue at interstate speeds.

Superchips vs Diablo

Looking for input - good or bad - on either. I have never used Diablo stuff and have had very limited use of a Superchip. I'm torn between the Superchip Cortex and the Diablo InTune (although it only comes up under the 1500s and not the 2500s). I've read up on both but would like input from other PW...

Headlight teardown

Ok I've searched and searched for any kind of guide on how to tear down the headlights but all I've found is where people say they did it and that there is a glue that needs removed, but they don't say if it as simple as pulling out some screws or if you need to "bake" them like you do the newer For...

Re: Project: About Time

Aside from the moon roof I have all that stuff plus the 7 speaker Infinity stero, Uconnect, power/heated mirrors, power rear slider and wood grain trim so I guess it is a Laramie.

I'm going to say yes as I bought it used so I really don't know what package(s) were ordered.
