Re: Brand new Cooper STT pros. What tire pressure?

Do the 12s not have the "light load setting" button? My 10 does but I need to look into the reprogramming of the sensors as well because even with ion the low setting it will go off if below 50psi.

Re: Ranch Hand

Here's a link to my thread on the same question from a couple years back.... http://forum.powerwagonregistry.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2214 I ended up sourcing two new factory style plugs and "Y"ing the pigtails from lights into that to plug directly into the factory connector just behind bumper. So t...

4th gen in whoops section

Anybody on here??? There's a Black 4G PW in the "whoops" section of Petersen's 4 wheel and off road.

Nose down in a watery mess, bet that was fun and soggy!

Here is what I was referring to... Mine doesn't seem to have any adjustability. This is what I get when I go to the info screen, just says " trailer brakes" no light or heavy settings.??? http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e294/jeep_boy02/KIMG0159_zpsdbp81wcm.jpg Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560 using Tapa...

Re: Window tint?

I went 20%(what was legal) over the factory tint so like 15% fronts and 10% rears. No problems really except when it gets dark but you get used to it and aux lighting/ rock lights would help then.

Re: What model is my PW?

I'm pretty sure you're right. Basically the power wagon package ($6350) was an add on to the 2500 5.7

Everything else was optional. Mine has the premium audio, power drivers seat, brake controller, sunroof, rear camera, bed liner(non spray) and carpet.

Re: 2013 Power Wagon purchase info

Looks like you're in need of some rock sliders too. I saw some of the PWs in Moab pics, that looked like a fun trip. Moab is great. I always love my time spent there. Unfortunately I will probably go to EJS next year and miss the PW trip but I am towing the Jeep out there with it and am already on ...

I've been looking into the viair super duty system. Can be found under $400. Not too shabby for a 100% duty cycle that includes all hook ups and such.

Re: 2013 Power Wagon purchase info

Yep they are still available, Myoung sold his PW and became too busy to continue producing them but Cajun has taken over. There is a new updated list now. I love mine, use it almost daily on the 50 acres I'm cleaning up. I went on the Moab trip this year and think I was the only one besides 05crawle...

Re: Engine oil temps while towing.

I sure am glad I picked up a 2010 now after hanging with and reading some issues with the 3rd gens. I take a lot of this for granted... Mine came with trans and oil temp gauge, and oil and trans cooler from factory. Only had to add a gooseneck, even had a brake controller. Sent from my KYOCERA-E6560...

I would say raise both to check and go ahead and start truck. If it did not spin when put in 4 it sounds like it was locked of some sort.

Re: Purple Cranium diff guard first impression

Solids are definitely way better. They're a stronger thicker replacement cover, not an add on protector. Really can't compare the two.

But solid doesn't offer one for an AAM 10.5 which the PWs before 2014 have IIRC.

Re: Exhaust Headers/gaskets

I'm not sure of the flange thickness but I would think it would be strong enough to withstand a better "clamping force" that a higher quality fastener would provide. Very true tho about the sacrifice of a stud vs manifold or even worse the head. If you went stainless headers and stainless hardware t...

Re: How many of you are overweight?

So I'm looking into a low pro gooseneck for trip to Moab next easter... Can't find any hard data on weight of trailer just yet but by my calculations the jeeps will weigh roughly 8100 so that leaves 2200 for trailer till max rating. I've seen an average of around 3200 for a 26', does that seem withi...
