Deep. Very deep. Holes through both blocks... I just got mine back Tuesday. Ace should have his back today.

IIRC, Ram changed the size/thread of the lug studs at some point, but I don't remember when.

Sorry, I should have asked- what year was your truck; what size/thread lug nuts?

Re: Rusty's Build - 2008 POWER WAGON RC

I've read most use 3M wrap. Unfortunately, I read it too long after I installed my Kings. The fronts rusted, but the rears look ok.

Re: Underseat storage???

If you are talking about the plastic parts shown sitting on top of the carpeted piece, they are the folding support legs for the fold-flat cargo floor. They support the flat deck when in use. I have them in my '16 3500. The folding flat cargo deck in my '05 PW is metal. Sent from my SM-G965U using T...

Re: Power Wagon mileage thread

LOL! Yeah, I drive it, but I have a company truck, a 3500 w/Cummins, wife's Mazda, and for a while a fire co. Tahoe, so it sits. My son uses it to tow his popup now. We stopped towing our toy hauler with it last year.

Re: Towing a smaller 5th wheel. Issues to be aware of?

You have to watch out for the top of the bed on the truck. Make sure you have enough clearance. One guy, can't remember who. Damaged the bed and the camper when he made an off camber turn. This, for sure! The extra height of the PW could be a problem. Look at pin height, frame height, etc. Try to b...

Re: Idler pulley & power steering fluid

I replace mine every 2-3 years, and keep a spare set in the toolbox (good used), along with a belt (same). Too easy to change in the field to be stuck if one lets go, and the failure is too common.

Don't forget to set the gap for the magnet while you are in there cleaning it.

Re: Need help. What does my PW have?

That's odd. It shouldn't unlock in 2wd. It should unlock in 4hi or 4low, under 18mph. If you lock it, it should lock as soon as the collar is lined up, regardless of speed. You may need to drive a few feet for it to flex and line up. If you go over 18 while unlocked, it will lock and the light will ...

Yeah, true!. Jeremy ( Schwenksville guy) said winter wheeling is pretty cool there. He's had his FJ there with snpw on the trails. We could do that, too. Did you mention that before?

Re: Power Wagons @ Rausch Creek late August

There's always September 12th

By the way, there is a guy on the FB page that lives in Schwenksville that couldn't make the June trip, but really wants to get together with us. I met up with him to deliver his shirt. I can let him know when we settle on a date.
