Re: Power Wagons @ Rausch Creek late August

Yeah, true!. Jeremy ( Schwenksville guy) said winter wheeling is pretty cool there. He's had his FJ there with snpw on the trails. We could do that, too. Did you mention that before?

Re: Power Wagons @ Rausch Creek late August

There's always September 12th

By the way, there is a guy on the FB page that lives in Schwenksville that couldn't make the June trip, but really wants to get together with us. I met up with him to deliver his shirt. I can let him know when we settle on a date.

Re: Power Wagons @ Rausch Creek late August

Hey, bud! We are away Aug 21-29, so I can't make either weekend. Since I will be with Peter, I assume he is unavailable as well. I can do the 8th or 15th at this time.

Pete doing an honest review, lol https://youtu.be/GmzV1MlumTU Sent from my rotary phone using Tapatalk Seems a bit over-dramatic. I ran Timbrens on mine for 10 years. The stops looked the same. I left the factory spacer in place, and didn't use the Timbren spacer, so the factory bolts worked. I rem...

Re: Rausch Creek 2020 10 Year Anniversary

I just received a reply from Rausch Creek. It simply says:

WE ARE OPEN

So there we are. Who is in?

Re: SimonandSimonBeast Build

Do those sliders require drilling of the frame, or do they clamp on like White Knuckle sliders?

Re: SimonandSimonBeast Build

How is your track bar? That'll make it a bit darty, too.
Is Spaniel's doing the work this week? My shop is about 5 minutes from theirs.

Re: Rausch Creek 2020 10 Year Anniversary

As of this week, like so many other places, Rausch Creek has closed. We will have to monitor this, and make a decision closer to the date of the trip. I hope everyone is doing OK through this ordeal.

Without question, 2005 is the best year. Why I haven't had to put more than a new battery in it in 15 years. Might need some tires here soon though... Just need to find a 2005 with about 5,000 miles on it and I would be all over it! [emoji38] I only have about 5000 per year... Sent from my SM-G965U...

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?

I nominate Damagewagon for best post of thread! As a Best Year '05 owner, you hit the nail right on the head. Fortunately, I have only suffered the grab handle and door harness issues. I do like the visibility and shorter wheelbase of the 3G. Oh, and the simplicity. I do wish for more power. And may...

Hey, John, welcome to the forum! I'm down the Pike (Sumneytown, that is) in North Wales. My '05 sits more than it drives, but I get around. You have a great list of mods. I'm interested in your exhaust. I've wondered if Pypes does something with acceptable clearance for offroading. I'm sure we'll ru...

Re: New rims and tires

I was refering to the factory, rear-high attitude. I can't tell from his pic if the truck is level, low in the rear, etc. I can't imagine .5" longer Thuren arms (same as my Carli set) throwing it out of spec unless the rear is really low, tipping the front axle back. That would have to be WAY low!. ...
