Looks like fun!

I like the cherokee on rubicon wheels. Those get around so damn good.
It did really well. The 35s, 4.88s, and rear lunchbox locker helped.

The upgraded suspension package (MORryde CRE 3000) and shocks on the BackCounty model is phenomenal.
Nice, I'll look into the MORryde CRE 3000 system. I've not had much luck finding RV Shocks besides the Lippert stuff. I do mostly offgrid camping and most roads are dirt and pretty rough.

Re: The Cactus Red mod thread.

The Toyo's worked great last weekend. MPG went up from 6.1 to 7.8 on a trip that gains 2700' of elevation in roughly 60 miles, most of it in a 15 mil climb from Ashfork to Williams, AZ. I expect to see 8.5 or better on flat ground. Your trailer looks nice. How does it hold up on washboard roads? He...

Re: 35" tire for those of us that tow?

I have heard that the Toyo RT rides better and handles better than the AT2 in all scenarios. Interesting considering what they are both built for! A good friend is on his second set of 33" RTs on his Ram 1500. He got around 40k miles out of the 1st set with about 20k towing a heavy construction tra...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

so do you notice much with the brace? To be honest, not really but I guess its more of a preventative maintenance sort of thing. Made it out on a trail last week near Coral Pink Sand Dunes in Southern Utah. Its a gorgeous trail that runs along the backside of Zion National Park. The truck performed...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

Did I mention I really want to regear to 4.88, bc I do. Also looking for a tuner that will recalibrate my trans and speedo for the 37s. Does anyone have a current mfg and part number list for 4.88 gears on a 2014+ PW? I agree. Thats what has kept me from putting 37s on the truck in the first place....

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

Mounted up my front Diff Guard, by far the simplest "Mod" I've done to any vehicle. Trimmed up the inner fenders in the front (over trimmed and patched). Also got my rear bumper pad replaced and chopped my exhaust. No more melty bumper for me. Things left to do before Moab: -Mount Spare Tire -Mount ...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

$175 and 15minutes of install and my parking sensors are functional again. Just waiting on the $55 bumper step pad to come in.

Also picked up a used 37" General Grabber as a spare. Will get it mounted to the spare wheel soon.

Next will be the spare tire bed mount.

Randy's isn't the only game in town. https://eastcoastgearsupply.com/c-962345-gears-install-kits-carriers-spider-gears-chrysler-aam-9-25-ring-and-pinions.html Thanks. Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

FIND A RACE shop to do this, they do it all the time, don't be cheap and try this yourself unless you have a LOT of automotive experience, the exact right tools, and are really precise in your measurements and work...it's just not worth it. The install took the shop in Ohio around 8 hrs+ to do both...

Both Nitro & Yukon sell 4.88's. Fellow PWIM Alumni ChrisS..... Thanks for collecting those part numbers and info MikeKey, really helpful. Three questions for the group.... 1) Strictly from a gear noise perspective, which brand is known to be quieter, assuming they are both setup correctly, Yukon or...

No kidding. Has anyone recently found 4.88s for the 11.5 rear?

Might have to call Randy's R&P.

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

I probably would have been fine until this spring when I first hooked up to the travel trailer and poured the coal to her. I'm sure it would have, I put about 1000 non towing miles on the truck with zero issues. But the first trip out with the trailer and things started melting. Did I mention I rea...

surprised how much you melted the bumper... that is exactly where i was going to dump mine... you certainly did forget to add a turndown tip. you can turndown and lose clearance. the velocity of the exhaust at 4k would have put that heat directly into the pavement. you certainly made me more cautio...

I never had a '14. I had an '04 Off Road that was a great truck. Someone ran a red light and totaled it a year an a half ago. Thanks. For sure, I'm not too worried about the rock rash. I will eventually build a front bumper with 3/16" plate. Hopefully I can get the front sensors to work with a custom bumper.
