Thanks to everyone for the advice and all the help with this. Here's how it ended up! I'll post more in the official Power Wagon Picture Thread.

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

After a rough trail last weekend and an unnecessary heavy right foot, I tore up my Nittos. Shale and tire spin don't mix. Messed up all 4 tires, missing a a lot of tread. 37-12.5 Cooper STT Pros mounted yesterday. These things are mean! Road noise seems minimal but they do rub quite a bit on the rad...

I would like to see more off road oriented updates:

1) 35" tires
2) 2.5" shocks
3) Better payload capacity
4) High clearance bumpers

Re: Why the lack of subforums?

I feel like towing & hauling is clearly different from discussions on camp setups and what not. Especially those of us with overland setups, and discussions on tents, vs discussions on payload. Agree. "Tongue weight and airbags?" vs. "What's the best TP for my camper commode?". Two different types ...

Re: Why the lack of subforums?

Great work guys, my only suggestion is to combine "Towing & Hauling" with "Camping - RTTs, travel trailers, tents, crapper buckets". I don't see the need to list them separately when the topics will mostly be the same....Heres my setup for the weekend, What the max I can tow, Show us what you haul, ...

Re: What did you pay for your latest Gen PW

I bought my 2018 in December 2017, Picked it up Mid-January 2018. Mine has everything except leather, push button start, and ram boxes. Hindsight, I should have held our for ram boxes and push button start but I still love the truck. I picked mine up from Towbin Dodge in Las Vegas, NV. When I bought...

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

With 37s, there is only a 100 RPM difference between 4.88 and 5.13 at 70mph. 5.13 with 40s is roughly the same as 4.10 with 33s. Did you make your final decision yet? The extra UMPH with 5.13's and 37's before going to 40's is kind of appealing. But, overall, here is what I got from an online calcu...

Re: Tire Feedback

Ride is super smooth and quiet as expected, just need to spend a little time dialing in the pressure for day to day street/highway use. The truck looks good. Gotta love the way 37s look so proportional on the PW. Personally I'm running 37" Nitto AT2s at 40front 35rear (cold PSI) when unloaded. Trea...

Re: The Cactus Red mod thread.

Decided MPG's were more important than traction. The AT2"s are much more efficient than the knobby's. Let us know how you like the CRE system and shocks! Did you go with the wet bolt setup as well? So far the cre3000 kit has worked very well (no shocks yet). All my cabinets and drawers stayed close...

I'll be leaving Vegas on Saturday, staying a night in Torrey Utah (Dark Sky town) to watch the stars and Milky Way then head into Moab on Sunday morning. I'll probably get to the campsite sometime around noon. Don't be surprised to find a new rig parked when you guys get back from the trail. Looking...

Re: The Cactus Red mod thread.

The trailer does excellent on washboard roads. My wife left a plastic hair clip on the bathroom sink, and after 5 miles of severe washboard and 60 miles of highway, it was still there. The upgraded suspension package (MORryde CRE 3000) and shocks on the BackCounty model is phenomenal. I'm one step ...

I like the cherokee on rubicon wheels. Those get around so damn good.
It did really well. The 35s, 4.88s, and rear lunchbox locker helped.

Nice, I'll look into the MORryde CRE 3000 system. I've not had much luck finding RV Shocks besides the Lippert stuff. I do mostly offgrid camping and most roads are dirt and pretty rough.

Re: The Cactus Red mod thread.

The Toyo's worked great last weekend. MPG went up from 6.1 to 7.8 on a trip that gains 2700' of elevation in roughly 60 miles, most of it in a 15 mil climb from Ashfork to Williams, AZ. I expect to see 8.5 or better on flat ground. Your trailer looks nice. How does it hold up on washboard roads? He...

Re: 35" tire for those of us that tow?

I have heard that the Toyo RT rides better and handles better than the AT2 in all scenarios. Interesting considering what they are both built for! A good friend is on his second set of 33" RTs on his Ram 1500. He got around 40k miles out of the 1st set with about 20k towing a heavy construction tra...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

Did I mention I really want to regear to 4.88, bc I do. Also looking for a tuner that will recalibrate my trans and speedo for the 37s. Does anyone have a current mfg and part number list for 4.88 gears on a 2014+ PW? I agree. Thats what has kept me from putting 37s on the truck in the first place....

Re: 2018 Power Wagon, White Rhino

Mounted up my front Diff Guard, by far the simplest "Mod" I've done to any vehicle. Trimmed up the inner fenders in the front (over trimmed and patched). Also got my rear bumper pad replaced and chopped my exhaust. No more melty bumper for me. Things left to do before Moab: -Mount Spare Tire -Mount ...
