Re: Hi lift jack ideas

IMG_1444.JPG What are you using as lift-points on the PW and what do you expect to achieve with that Hi_lift? In a pinch you can use the front tow hooks. I've done it, I wouldn't get under the truck but to change a tire or get the tire out of a hole, id do it again. Also the rear hitch wo...

Re: 14+ 5.13 Gears, Noisy?

My 5.13s don't make a peep at least I don't hear them over my cooper stt pros or engine noise. Even with back glass open? What brand gears? I'm somewhat familiar with loud gear noises from my 2004 Disco 2. No noises from the 5.13s from AAM (rear) and Yukons (front). With back glass open or all wind...

Re: Going without TPMS Sensors

My tpms saved me fender when I had a fast leak on the highway. If my tpms didn't start yelling at me, it probably would have shreaded the tire into my fender before I noticed (been there done that in a different truck).

But to each there own.

Re: Air Coupler Protection

I mounted my smittybilt compressor behind the grill in my 2018. The coupler is strapped to my front tow hook. I had a cap on it for the first few hundred miles but the last 30,000 mi I haven't had anything on it. I use it almost monthly and I've never had an issue. That ARB coupler is pretty slick I...

I'm thinking I'll pick up a GEN Y hitch. There Torsion Flex boss hitch looks pretty slick (thanks RetiredBLM for previously suggesting).

Re: Poll: Ram TRX vs Supercharged PW w/thuren king 37s

I wonder how much of a difference a supercharger would make on these 8klb pigs? Especially with heavy 37" tires. I feel like we would need at least 150+hp and 150+tq to make a noticeable difference.

Does anyone want to volunteer as tribute for next year's PWIM? 😁

Poll: Ram TRX vs Supercharged PW w/thuren king 37s

Which one and why? 2021 TRX w/37s but otherwise factory Or 2014+ Power Wagon with: Supercharger 37" Tires 4.88 or 5.13 gears Full Thuren w/3.0 Kings boogies etc This is just for fun because the only truck I'd consider over my Power Wagon is the upcoming TRX. With an extra $20k I could take my curren...

Re: Blackvue Front & Rear Camera

I've got the DR650 dual channel and it works well for me. Not so much for the action cam stuff but the price of mind.

I'm a big fan of there dashcams and will probably get the 900 series in my next vehicle.

Good info about the cloud feature.

GEN-Y Hitch offers multiple torsion systems that include a built in tongue weight scale.
Here's a link to their Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCrbGOc ... CpcLkRsBRg

Re: Anyone use a Shocker Hitch?

It won't work well for me - even though they do have support for 16,000 pounds. For starters you need to adjust the air pressure based on your load. My dump trailer tongue weight varies all over the place depending on what I'm hauling. Also, when i dump, I occasionally will get significant lift on ...

Anyone use a Shocker Hitch?

While doing some late night research I found the shocker hitch advertised. Has anyone used it? I'm curious on how it would handle washboard roads and generally shitty dirt roads. Is it a gimmick or does it actually significantly reduce the shock from your trailer to tow vehicle? https://shockerhitch...
