Re: 2018 vs 2019 First impressions

Great review and insight.

The 2019 is no doubt a step up in several departments.

I'm only a little envious!

Hey ya'll

It's July 2019.

What's the biggest tire you can put on a 2018 Power Wagon without any rubbing, or issues?

How is the BFG KM3?

What wheels do I need to run 37" Toyos?

Thanks!

Re: Fire Extinguisher

I picked up a 2.5lb abc marine/auto and an Element e50. Best of both worlds.

The element extinguishers look pretty sweet and the price/size is hard to beat.

Re: EasyDoesIt's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "White Rhino"

Decided I wanted to improve the brakes so I upgraded to Power Stop Z36s Pads. There's definitely a difference but its not as big as I had hoped. Still worth the $120 and 2 hour install. Also installed the Dethloff Mfg engine/trans skid plate about a month ago. Top quality stuff that @DamageWagon is ...

Awh man you guys aren't messing around, especially you @colibri.

Good info Marcus.

To be honest I'd probably let it burn too as long as I wasn't 50 miles from civilization!

Re: Power Wagon Video Thread

A video my buddy put together from a The Barracks Trail near Coral Pink Sand Dunes / Zion National Park Utah.

This from the last weekend in April. One of my favorite trails and definitely a fun one for the family.

Looking to pick up a new fire extinguisher to mount in the cab or bed somewhere. What fire extinguisher are you guys using?

Re: 37 Tire in a 7' Garage?

I go into 7' parking garages and car washes on the regular, only one time did I nudge the pipe with cab over lights. Granted residential garages are different because most the time the door hangs down a 2"-4" below the framed garage door opening. Based on the above posts I'd say your results may ver...

Re: EasyDoesIt's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "White Rhino"

Build looks great! I have some catching up to do... Took mine on it's first real offroad trip yesterday. It did great! We'll definitely have to hit some trails soon. I need to finish up a volunteer project in the Mojave Preserve soon. We plan to camp and then wheel if you are interested? We haven't...

With the door open, what's the distance from the cab to the outer edge of the outer tube?

For extra traction, swing by your local skate shop and grabs some grip tape for $10-$20. 🤘

I don't run either tires but that sucks. Since I started buying my own tires i've rotated them every 5-6k. Its cheap insurance for long tire life.

at that point, it is truly easier and headache free to install the switch
I couldn't agree more. It puts the abs/traction control + disable at your fingertips for less than $100. And it's a stupid simple installation
