Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)

every tire company will have truck tires that someone will eventually blow out. wrong PSI, rogue branches, or hidden boulders. Duratracs are the perfect tire for jeeps because they are lighter trucks and these are lighter tires. they still see alot of sidewall punctures. people dont actually unders...

Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)

its all about ROLLING RESISTANCE soft or hard tire? knobby or smooth tread? High PSI or low PSI? Contact patch comes into play. all comes into play. duractracs have alot of rolling resistance with the tread and design. i would believe the toyo rt in a 35 has less rolling resistance then the 33 durat...

Re: Tire Pressures

you have a great setup, but those tires do in fact appreciate the correct air pressure for ride comfort and wear quality. Chalk test to be sure, but an empty powerwagon on those tires will be under 40 rear and under 45 front cold. thats my hypothesis. you may think its light, but it works. my toyo r...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam

......next is front trackbar as you must realign this for best practice. best to do this on any amount of lift over stock. (Necessary with initial shock and coil package) ....... best part about thuren is you dont need to think, just buy. pre measured, pre flexed setup. Both of these points are wro...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam

its a waste to take a PW and not upgrade the true performance returning hardware that is plug and play. great from the factory, but fortify those parts and you have the pinnacle of full size offroad setups . shocks and coils first. best option if you will go offroad, 2.5 kings all around. this you n...

haha just swapping rotors and pads on the hellcat was going to be over $4k.. big brakes, means big money...literally why i had to sell it. rotors where trashed. i will gladly swap the rotors and pads for high performance when the time comes...but im not underwhelmed by the performance of stock on 35...

Re: Locker Issues....

if a plug and play harness comes on the market, i guaranty 90% of 2018 buyers will buy and install them. that being said, your method makes hardwired look very easy. i believe to daunting of an install for alot of people, who may just not have the time or experience. or dont want to let a random tec...

Re: Patriot Campers Off Road (PTOR) RT25 SUPERam

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

honestly, i drive really hard, throwing the truck off curbs, onto ramps and into corners and brake pedal to the floor. 4-LO off road and ABS is crazy. the only time on road that ABS activates is when turning really sharp at speed with extreme body roll. its extremely difficult to force ABS action on...

@zlaayer you werent being trolled, @boldadventure was trolling that aftermarket outfitter. they make statements that are not true, per the experience on this board alone. some of their hardware is inferior their wheel selection makes absolutely ZERO sense when it comes to over landing. that suspensi...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

upgrade the brake fluid. 4LOW has its own brake performance based on the extreme torque applied to the axles and wheels individually. theres a reason why you cant just go stomp on your brakes in 4 low and come to a complete stop that easily. talk about drive train strain. break in on brakes and roto...

AEV seems puzzled. Nothing worked to reset the truck. Going to pay a shop for a ECU flash tomorrow.
any comment as to your install process?
the OBD port on some 2018s have a secondary obd harness inline that was not annotated on directions.

^ i have a tip just like this on my resonator delete, along with the Mufflex Magnaflow Muffler. unleashes the beast in this setup. drone is negligible on highway. TOW mode and it will hum, and ECO at slow speeds must be turned off. drone there sounds nice, but is too loud. best setup for someone who...

the 18 powerwagons are 100% not lacking on brake power. could they be better, yes please. they are spongy just like any truck, but they react linear enough and perform admirably for a stock set. they have brought me to a stop when i needed them most...maybe a few too many times. and i dont need to s...

Re: Pro Cal Disaster 2018

WARNING!!! DO NOT buy the Procal for your 2018. After the first one did not work, they sent another. It stuck my truck in limp mode did you install the Bypass? explain your install, provide some pictures... My 2018 worked Flawlessly, and so have others. i dont assume this was Procal machining error.
