Re: Is this place still alive?
sold my PW early 2020 i think. Still look for life here every month. PW owners are the only real offroad truck owners forums around. I sunk it in mud at my hunting lease axle deep for about 30 minutes until the buggy could swing by to yank me. i think the moisture compromised the front CAD/locker/sw...

Re: Service 4WD System flashing
have you been involved with any plowing or deeper water crossings? thick mud after a good snowfall? ill revert to the unreasonable sensitivity of the smartbar and CAD.. if i was any more remote then south florida, i would already encourage a smart bar bypass and locker bypass....but even still, i be...

As I no longer have a PW...right now....I have, on occasion, frequented this site for forthcoming news and banter. Where is the banter? The Chit-Chat? The prattle? Gossip? This does not need to be a Vaccinated or not, Stolen election or not, Afghanistan handed to China(Lithium and Cobalt) or not, Gl...

whatever you do....do not linex or overcoat the mounting sides and modular end sections where they attach. the clearances for install are toight and there can not be linex in between bolted parts. i actually wish i went with linex instead of the "military grade" powdercoat paint i had done.. paint o...

I wont deny that a true PCM tune is the only option for real performance gains when adding aftermarket parts, or needing to extract every ounce of power out of a factory block....reliably too( i had a hemifever tune on order, but refunded after waiting too long for a computer..they bricked a few 201...

i did this kit but did not install the spring...
it helped for a few weeks, but eventually i was still unhappy with the trans behavior. Maybe the full install would be better, but an aftermarket trans build is the only way to beat the factory tuning and crappy casting.

Abel Components Never installed Swaybar Bypass/Disconnect $100 + shipping
I have a swaybar disconnect that was acquired from Abel but never installed. I had the EvoMFG air release, and never got around to this conversion. per the Below from RetiredBLM, its ready for a 2005-2021, with a few updates that will be available and provided. As i see it, this is one of the best m...

this bad ass truck just got sold guys....no longer own a powerwagon.... dealer gouged me. brought it in for service to diagnose a service 4wd light and cluster notification. I was driving it for over 1000 miles after getting it stuck at my lease and having some issues with the systems.( i thought we...

i finally got stuck in the muck, and i sat for 30 mins...think i have a compromised swaybar disco, luckily, all my nannies are bypassed so everything still works. but i do have a service 4wd light on..

either have a friend or do it yourself.
take some cardboard and tape and fabricate your own bracket. then have someone weld or bend one up. Sounds like the bracket would have it sitting where it is now but with more support?

Re: Sway and oscillation
i would be really surprised... im typically 40 front 32 rear cold.
so 4 large passengers and i actually need to crank that over 50 psi lol
while i dont doubt it has an effect, i didnt think this was the real issue...
i really need to get on that chalk test.

Take a ride to my hunting camp in the Powerwagon
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tK6bBvc6VQE Highlights in the description if you want to skip to some light action. Buggy ruts, mud, swamp, and a few trees. Baby slept through this trip, but i would typically be going twice the pace. 10k acres of beauty and the powerwagon goes where you see Florida ...

this is what we have going on as well pretty much. glad to know it happens on stock worn trucks or full aftermarket worn trucks. unless we address ball joints, trackbar bushings, radius arm bushings, shock bushings....all the bushings, we wont really know what is causing it.. its just the nature of ...
