Re: Diablosport tuner

any surging or funky driving characteristics i blame on the transmission. any transmission tuning available, im going for it. im entirely confident this 6.4 hemi has the bottom end to handle, and capacity to crank out substantially more power then you would on any typical naturally aspirated setup. ...

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

holy crap that is awesome. but limited in nature (referencing module to utilize factory auxiliary buttons.) It's nowhere near as flexible as an SPOD or SwitchPro that is for sure. However, it looks OEM (because it is) and is integrated into the EVIC. I have three rocker switch locations above the e...

Re: Accessory Fuse Block Recommendations

if you plan to read alot and learn about wiring, including the time it can take, the bluesea products and DIY relay and bus bars are very common and can be high quality setups. Contura switches rock. you can read on 1000s of setups and how tos on many different forums as its always a 12v system with...

Re: Sliders

white knuckle seems like the go to around here. they will be my choice.
if im not mistaken, the aluminess are not frame mounted?

and depending on your use, frame mounted sliders may be the most sturdy

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

im assuming unloaded with two passengers, the king 3.0 and 2.5 suffice? but i do understand torsion bars and their benefits. ill say this! im thoroughly happy with the build and i know the on demand disconnect is what i needed. my only issue on this truck right now is this spod always on bologna. i ...

https://www.bluesea.com/products/7622100B/ML-ACR_Automatic_Charging_Relay_Manual_12V_%5BBulk%5D This is the one I’d recommend. It gives manual control as a backup to its automatic operation. Super simple to wire. Just hook the spod main positive lead to its output terminal and run a line directly t...

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

You can run an automatic charging relay from bluesea systems to run power to the spod. It will only allow power to the unit when the alternator is running. Love spod, I have one of their original units in an old Jeep. They’ve come a long way which specific product and what would the schematic look ...

i guess the answer is....
my girlfriend and family will take the priority, as the alternative only puts a smile on my face and my life at risk.
a torsion would by my ideal, but my GF likes it slow and deep.....deep ruts that is.

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

SPOD great product and does exactly what its designed to do. easy install and easy maintenance. Bantam is small!!!! and very high quality HD touchscreen is ideal! and such a small footprint for 4 switches. @trailwhalePowerwagon on instagram for some photos. one huge gripe. the switch panel has full ...

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

i assume over uneven, ungraded, or off camber highway runs , which is everywhere in south florida as everything is under construction, and i daily this at over 16k miles a year, that no swaybar can provide maximum Comfort on long stretches of road. and it surely does. it numbs out almost all the roa...

EVO ON DEMAND AIR SWAYBAR DISCONNECT. WOW Findings were relatively expected I have never actually removed links to test no stock swaybar at full speeds. If i had, i may have removed the swaybar all together as long as i wasnt towing. the Thuren suspension is absolutely ideal! As it relates to body c...

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

the 6.4 is the end all option for our powerwagons... until they start boosting small v8s

that 8 speed should be stout, clean shifting, and MPG boosting, but the low end gearing i guaranty they get wrong for the sake of reliability.

i hate the fact they didnt actually screw up the powerwagon for the next gen. i like alot of those improvements, but i have to say my 18 looks burly and tough while all these new trucks look to modern and crisp

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

i gave Brandons truck and auto the placement and build direction guidance and they made some of their own calls. the rambox unit comes out all together, and a bracket plate gets placed on the opposite site of the plastic box, bolt through and as solid as it needs to be. the quick connect coupler has...

Re: 2018 PW Front Bumper

ill get some other pictures today to show it off even more. with the 2018 rebel style grill, the bumper does not deteriorate the form of the front end. honestly, i would probably go a different route with lets say, a red, white, or alternative non Black PW color being that it is obtrusive in nature,...

so i believe the Thuren fitment for a 2018 powerwagon wont be beat in style, clearance, and quality. this beast of a bumper is perfect to gain that front clearance, mount any lights you desire, and keep those pesky shopping carts from causing any problems https://i.ibb.co/35b6V7F/IMG-0767.jpg https:...
