Re: (New) Toyo A/T III

i concur with the fact the my toyo RT in 35s and 37s have been phenomenal with zero issues truly. I live in south florida where our mud is swampy and sandy, and our roads are ice free....hence why a summer climate may be the best bet. I have never had any issues with Mud with the Powerwagon, and ive...

Re: (New) Toyo A/T III

I love Toyo but I need to see these be a big improvement over the AT II before I would consider them over my STT Max’s. The AT II is about the most disappointing tire Toyo makes. have you ventured to the toyo RT yet? they fulfilled everything i was worried about with the ATs, yet kept me far enough...

people put on 35s, never hit the dirt and blow an "HD" 66rfe transmission.

FCA would gladly F themselves.

Re: 2nd Gen Ford Raptor

i wish $20k could include those parts lol! we could probably get away with that on a best gen, but i still love my 4th gen.

honestly, im still on the boat to no way in hell FCA puts in the right axles shafts, u joints, and transfer cases we need to actually abuse/feed these TRX trucks.

Re: 2nd Gen Ford Raptor

i can out baja a raptor with my truck at X speed...the problem is just how dang slow the PW is compared to a boosted truck at full throttle.. im not quite sure if my suspension is faster then the 500HP V6... i do know this argument is minimized with a Tune on the 6.4 but thats beyond reliability. on...

well how long after you turn it on does it get wet?

i could be sitting on the heat seater for a few minutes and ill start to sweat and not notice it until i start moving around or get out.

throw a contractor trash bag over the seat and see if its you or seat side.

Re: Noise in 66rfe transmission

well if your going to R and R in your driveway ever... Sonnax has alot of data and parts to remedy these issues. but thats where im at....build up the trans the way i want, blast the engine and we are SOL.. let dodge rebuild my trans and it will blast itself or other parts, that ultimately, may ruin...

Re: 2012 Needs a new Trans...thoughts on Jasper?

these are Jaspers current identified fixes of our 66rfe trans... im on the chopping block, and unless Ram will replace my trans...im going for one of these. 1. 100% install a NEW line pressure sensor (transducer) to prevent inconsistent shift quality and control correct line pressure (high failure i...

Re: Noise in 66rfe transmission

Of course now...... trans failed at 24,000 on a road trip. Had to leave at dealership in las vegas and keep going in rental. Lost all forward gears with no warning. Under warranty but......rather disappointing I must say!!! Perhaps the 8 speed in the 20 model is better. Anyone have good luck with t...

some questions that we glaze over but drastically influence tire performance, and rolling resistance.... PSI of all four tires? did you come from 12 inch wide or 13 inch wide treads with the 35s? in fact what brand and tire did you come from and go to? did you get an alignment whatsoever? shift the ...

3.0 kings and youll never need a sway bar again! Better (and much cheaper) yet, get Able Components (David) locker/swaybar bypass kit. Re: The "Real Reliability"

25k miles and it’s junk. Blown trans and they won’t just replace it, just keep replacing its guts. Already has a new valve body. And already got lost between reverse and drive and had no torque lockup and no throttle. Can’t understand what’s going on here, but I need it to be fixed. I have NO faith,...

they may be a tad expensive for what they are and where else the money could go, but they are reliable and quality. they work as it relates to picking up the slack of our electronic throttle systems and the piss-poor performance engineering by the MGP-EPA freaks. ive had them in sports cars, suvs, j...

Re: 37s with overland extreme questions

my 37 toyo RTs at 17 inches run smoother then the 35s did and even smoother then stock duratracs by a long shot. (if you beat on your tires, offroad often, ride in gravel often, Centramatics will do wonders for you) youll have pedal commander, intake/exhaust to deal with any loss of "performance" do...

Re: Making new tire & wheel plunge

the issue with the stock rim is purely the width of it, and accepting a wider tire, with a wider contact patch. Wider 35s or 37s deserve a wider rim to justify said tread size difference. a 12.5 tire tread contact patch will not sit correctly on a 8 inch rim....in fact, it is probably not an "approv...

its steel... anything is possible. bolt on or weld...its just a time and effort thing, for Don included. and alot of us would probably do it. i want more of a Push bar style, yet i also do not want any further protrusion, so a vertical bar the width of the grill would be ideal, or mounted aft on the...
