Re: Uconnect/Guardian

There was an issue with the app and there should be an update available for you. I would delete the app and install brand new from the app store.

Re: Tradesman/power wagon vs power wagon snowplow prep

Just checked my dealer interface. Snow Chief Group and Snow Plow Prep Group are both Tradesman options however are not allowed with the PowerWagon Package. PowerWagon comes with everything in both so they are unavailable. Does not show any difference for suspension on my screen.

Mine should arrive today, I'll get it installed over the weekend.

AEV posted a how to video for the 2018's. Looks fairly simple.
Yes, just be sure you put the pins in far enough and the correct direction. Just use the old pins as a guide

Re: New truck ordered 2018

When I ordered mine in '08. Took 3 weeks to build, and 3 weeks to ship. 1 of those weeks in shipping was actually in shipping. The other 2 weeks. It sat on the train in Buffalo NY. :box: Told the dealer that I want to go up and pick it up there. He said that they won't let me do that. :box: Thats t...

Re: New truck ordered 2018

Currently there is a national railcar shortage that FCA has had an issue dealing with. Currently build time for a Powerwagon is roughly 5-6 weeks. Shipping can easily add 4 weeks onto that. I would expect anywhere from 7-10 weeks to give you a safe estimate

Re: What did you pay for your latest Gen PW

I'm curious if anyone has used more "structured" purchasing processes such as Costco for their PW's? -Given the relative ease by which the PW's are negotiated down things like Costco don't make sense for PW's? I used Costco for another vehicle recently and thought the process was super stress-free ...

Re: What did you pay for your latest Gen PW

I work in a Dodge store so I get my cars for actual cost, which was about $7k off before rebates on a $62,500 MSRP. With rebates it was about $10500. As long as youre Getting better than $5k off plus rebates at the fully loaded level, you're doing ok. Id say about $4000+rebates on a tradesman

I have always used simple glass cleaner/car wash on decals. Anything harsher will probably damage them and definitely don't polish them

Re: 2018 Power Wagon issues

Sounds like all electrical related, I would contact Chrysler directly and make a statement to them. The only thing you mention there that is normal is the transfer case lever, which does move quite a lot and is not a problem. Get in touch with corporate so they're aware of your issues and the dealer...

Re: 2014+ Train Horn Recommendations?

Looks like I'm going to build something to get what I want. Hornblasters offers the Shocker kit which is likely what I'll go with for horns. Going to put a 4 gallon pancake tank where the spare was, compressor will have to be custom fit somewhere but I can do that. Compressor will feed a multi-port ...

2014+ Train Horn Recommendations?

Looking to do an OBA/Train Horn combo with a 2-3 gal tank. I'm not opposed to making my own setup but would likely buy a train horn kit with my own tank and oba bits. Looking for recommendations as I know this is a common install. I'd like to use my spare tire well for the tank if not the whole setu...

Re: 2018 Tuning options for gears/trans/speedo

Diablo told me a month to two months today. Chrysler really made this a pain in the ass Brahaha don't count on their quoted timelines. A few years ago, they told me they would have the tuner ready for the 2014 6.4 in a month and six months later it still wasn't available. Read the OP, I'm aware, ju...

2018 Tuning options for gears/trans/speedo

Finally getting frustrated with Diablosport pushing off their tuners for the 2018s. Was Feb, then March/April, then end of may, now end of the summer. Has anyone gotten tuning done on a 2018 for gears or tire size. Ideally want 4.88 gears but if I can't get it tuned properly I wont bother.

Tires Fitment

Might run into an issue with tire fitment, though very slightly. My understanding is that there is a pinch weld on the rear side of the front wheel well. What is the proper fix for it? I know on my jeeps I always beat them flat and painted them

How much for the wheels shipped to 49648?
I'm getting insane shipping quotes. Best guess is 33x33x13 size package and 75 pound weight. Offer I had was $1100 for the whole set with TPMS sensors. If you want to figure out shipping, I'll ship them idc.

Re: 37" tires with 4.10 for those who do have

ProCal can handle regearing, but I don't really know what it does within our system. Just so you're aware for the future, the ProCal tunes the TIPM which is the fusebox essentially but handles certain functions like the speedometer. It adjusts what the speedo sees from the wheel speed sensors which...
