Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?
i've had an 05' and 12' pw. liked the 05' better than the 12'. 12' had more creature comfort and it does allowing for a growing family as was my case. 05' is more simple and i never had the throttle hesitation when putting the pedal to the metal in mud/snow going uphill. plus it's easier to see over...

TC=Total Crap. Be glad you don't have it. If the main roads are in bad shape you should be driving slower anyway.
I've had (2) PW's, one with TC and one without. The 05' PW was awesome without TC.

Will this method eliminate that "gear hold feature" when ascending hills with a heavy load. Annoying when you try to accelerate and you step on pedal to downshift and get nothing. this happened to me several times with my 2012 pw 5.7 motor when ascending a hill full throttle through deep deep snow ...

these pw's are just too heavy for bfg at's. had several sets. never again. i welcomed the Duratracs when they came out standard on the pw.
but Toyo sure seems to be the way people are going now.

This makes me wonder how the Rebel TRX will sell once it comes out? Rumors of a 7.0L with over 500hp and a 6.2L Hellcat with the 707hp are floating around the internet and different forums. I think it's going to be interesting to sit back and watch. I'm not sure I need 707hp in a truck, but 500hp s...

After 2 years, 8 months, and 115,000 miles I got sick of the MPG and traded my wagon in for a Cummins. My head immediately grew 4 sizes, my hat bill straightened, and my dick shrunk. Would running 2 fuel filters on such a small engine starve it of fuel ? what i mean...my oem fuel filter outlet had a 10" or so rubber fuel line going to carb. that particular fuel line eroded thanks to ethanol and went straight to the carb. so i installed a new fuel filter as close as possible to ...

i was told by a mechanic not to use fuel stabilizer for the winter but to run aircraft grade fuel through for the winter.
and yes......ethanol rots rubber quick so make sure you have a fuel filter on the inlet side of the carb.
