Did you like that hitch spare tire carrier?
The Hitch Gate Tire rack was good, The only reason I stopped using it, was that I had the roof rack now to put the tire on.

Re: A/C controls and blower motor

I have a 2005 also and lost the ability to control the modes (defrost, floor, vent). After changing all the mode doors out with the Heater Treater ones, I ended up having to get another Dash Control unit out of the junk yard and that fixed my problems.

So far I have only noticed a slight power loss from the 37x 12.5's I had on. Othewise I havn't really noticed anything else so far, but I have only driven it a couple of times since I put them on.

Re: I think I over loaded the power wagon....

Placing it different would have maybe made the truck not look like the front wheels were going to come off the ground. But the hoe being around 23000 already put the trailer at least 9000 - 11000 lbs overloaded. I would check to make sure your trailer axles are not bent now, as well as the rear axle...

Re: Swing away tire/crap holder

I ran the Hitch Gate Tire Rack when I was running 34's and 35's. It was great for keeping the Spare and Jack handy. It was also nice to pull the pin and loosen the wedge and it was off the truck if I had to haul something long in the box. Build quality was great. The only things I change on it, was ...

The Dealership payed for the replacement of my Module. But that was about 4yrs ago. I know it wasn't Warranty because that was run out, so it must have been a recall or bulletin.

Re: What did you get for xmas

After a bunch of emails to different sellers out of China. I found one that was making the lights with polycarbonate lens and an IP rating of 67. They don't have the Cree LEDs like the US ones do but at $850 delivered for all of the lights vs $1600 delivered for just one 50" US lightbar. I don't min...

Re: What did you get for xmas

The 50" should be around 22500 lumen and the 6.5" around 2700 lumen each. I will be doing a write up when I finish get them installed. I did a test last night with the 50" powered off our forklift and omg, our whole plant yard was lit up.

Where are you going to mount all that?
50 on front of roof rack
6.5's one on either side and 2 pointing backward on the roof rack
36's one on grill guard and one above canopy door(maybe)

Those would be what I would need. Now it's time time to save up, (man those lights are expensive)
I'll have to to keep surfing while I wait, maybe there is some more options out there for led lightbars with covers.
Thanks for the link.

Re: Are these lights to much.

I have been starting to look at the LED's and I am starting think about a 40" or 50" on the front of the rack, 1 - 6" pointing sideways on either side of the rack and 2 - 6" pointing rearward on the rack. As well as change out my 2 Hella's on the grill guard with a 36" LED bar for low light. I think...

Re: Are these lights to much.

If you need the light, you need the light. Looks are secondary. Since you don't have a full set of Hellas yet and are concerned about looks, go with LEDs. They are expensive, but will put out more light than the halogens so you won't need as many units. You could put one LED bar on the front of the...

(To much) for the look of the truck. I want and need extra light but also don't want to reck the look of the truck. I have 3 Hella 4000s and I just threw them up in the holes in the light bar and then took 2 pictures of the lights on either side and pasted them together to see if I am going to keep ...
