A deer just committed suicide into the side of my new 19. 4K miles. Looks like I'll be trading for a 20 after they fix it.
Picture??? :poke:
So the Fender Flares on the 19's have bolt/clip holes?

Seems a stupid idea as it's a spot to rust...

Truck goes into park with door open any way around that?
Offroad only, picking up cones just want to cruise 3-5 mph
Close the latch in the door lock?

Re: 2018 Power Wagon Brake Issues

2017 here, stock brakes are ridicolus, especially for dense german traffic
I went with EBC discs and yellow pads front and rear at about 1-2000 miles, significantly improved the braking, nonetheless a fat and heavy truck, never got around to bleeding the system or changing out the hoses

Re: PowerSteps

Depending on the passengers size and physical fitness you definitly need steps on the Power Wagon, even more when you start increasing cab height with 35" or more tires and suspension mods. I went with power steps because I love the ground free look of the truck with them tucked in and I hardly have...

Re: 2019 HD Security Gateway Module Location

Thanks for finding the time to let us know, one more thing on my list for a 2019+ cleared up. How's the driving experience of the 2019 in general? I'm on a 2017 PW on 37 KM3's with a 2,5" Thuren setup right now, but being in Germany there is no chance to test a 2019. I know the ZF 8-Speed from my fo...

The guys at TFL have a Video out and the Engine seems to sound different, maybe they changed something to the intake and/or exhaust?

Re: 2nd Battery -- Gen 4.5

Not really, it's dark here now and I'll be away tomorrow... Battery cradle is slightly higher then frame rail, maybe 1/8 inch, there's about 1.5-2 inches of space above the battery to the cab floor, enough to handle the cables, access to the front battery clamp is easy thorugh the floor storage bin....

Re: 37's Not Balancing

I finally got the KM3's on Friday. First impressions are great! Smooth and quiet. Height wise I can't tell a difference, but I'm pretty sure they measure .2" shorter than the STT. Width wise they are definitely narrower which I'm completely fine with since I NO LONGER HAVE ANY RUBBING! I now have a...

Outside the right frame rail under the rear passenger seat fits nicely for a 105Ah/950CCA AGM-VRLA on my 2017.

Re: Power Wagon Parts

Forgive my ignorance, but why is it a big deal that the drum rotates in a different direction? It's not a big deal, it's done out of necessity so that the cable feeds from the top of the drum rather than the bottom for correct clearance and positioning behind the front bumper for the application. Re: 2020 Power Wagon - Spied

I'd take the Rotary shifter for the 8-Speed transmission anyday now, column shifter fits a larger truck nicely but newer transmissions will have 'fake' electronic shifters no matter if colum or console. I think drivetrain comfort and fuel efficiency should improve very significantly from the 8-Speed...

Diablosport just recently announced that their unlocked ECM's now also work for the '17 and '18 6.4L's. So Hemifever should now also be able to offer his tunes for the newer years with or without the diablosport tuner packages. At least that's what he stated in an email a while back when I asked. As...

TPMS reprogramming works well on a 2017, thanks a lot!
Somebody got an idea if the backup lights check can be disabled, added additional lights and get a message on every startup.

Re: U61 Recall prevents TPMS reprogramming on newer PW's

I kinda have limited resources where I live here in Germany, just that one reputable mechanic at one FCA dealer that (great for me) does the recalls, but rarely sees trucks besides Fiats, Kias and Opels. Another shopt that's not FCA... RAM trucks are not officially sold in Germany btw. all of them a...

Yeah I have kinda limited resouces here in Germany, only 2 inofficial dealers and one reputable mechanic for RAM's around. He says he can't login into the RFH anymore or tell the sensors which pressure to accept. Still looking for someone with a Autel MaxiSys and/or Auto Enginuity.

U61 Recall prevents TPMS reprogramming on newer PW's

According to my mechanic the U61 (cruise control) recall prevents the TPMS reprogramming with the witech. It worked before the update but it does not anymore. Anybody else have experienced it and/or have suggestions to fix it, the warning light is really annoying.
