Re: Flashing locker lights
I have the locker and sway bar system by Abel on my 2017. I love the way they work. Super happy with them!

Re: Abel Components Appreciation Post
I too really appreciate the effort it took to make these kits and the very high quality they are built to. I have the Locker Bypass, Nanny Kill Switch and the Swaybar Disconnect. They were installed in that order. I never could get the lockers to engage as I thought they should and with the Abel kit...

Re: Abel Components Sway Bar Bypass® - $249
I have had my sway bar bypass sitting on a shelf for months waiting for warmer weather to arrive. I finally installed the kit this weekend. The entire kit is super! The directions, the wire length even the switch is just great! Installing the kit was really simple and I couldn’t be more pleased with...

Re: Powerwagon's best model year 2005-2020?
I really like my 2017 a bunch but an 8 speed transmission would even be better. I don't want an 8 speed bad enough that I would consider upgrading my 2017 but the 8 speed to me would be a big and worthwhile upgrade!

Re: 2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
Here is an update. Last weekend I tried unsuccessfully to update the software. I did a reset and that worked. For a while anyway. I don't drive the truck much so I checked it a couple of times an it appeared to work. However I drove it a bit on Saturday and the the radio started not turning off with...

Re: 2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
Mine 2015 started doing that also. I sat in it after opening the door and it finally shut off in 1-2min. I was also going through the OTA unconnect "update failed" at the time. I finally downloaded it to a USB stick and updated that way. It hasn't done it since. That’s a great idea. Can you get me ...

Re: 2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
Unfortunately the issue came back. I pulled the ground cable on Friday and immediately drove it and all was well. I drove it again later in the weekend and the radio won't shut off now when I open the door. I don't drive it very often. I think I will wait until this weekend and try disconnecting the...

Airlifter onboard air fill options - 5000 Ultimate airbags
What’s the opinion of the group on the onboard air fill options for the airlifter 5000 Ultimate bags? I recently installed the Airlifter 5000 Ultimate airbags, Daystar cradles and the Thuren rear track bar on the advice of the group here. I am really happy with the set up. I have air at my home and ...

Re: 2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
Just spitball'n here. How about pulling the fuse to it or disconnect the battery for 15+ min which *could* force a reboot? I had that same message pop on my '16 a couple of weeks ago and I proceeded with the OTA update. All seems fine, but there was initially some funkiness with station presets. Go...

Re: 2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
Thanks for the ideas! It's not Bluetooth. I just tried it again with my phone in the house way out of range. I also just tried restoring factory settings. Not change the radio still plays after I lock the doors on it and walk away. It's really baffling me.

2017 software update radio doesn’t turn off
About 25 days ago or so my 2017 insisted I do an update the on the software. It was a forced update in that I was locked out of using the radio until I did the update. I completed the update and now after I turn the truck off my radio doesn’t turn off when I open the truck door. I found a setting th...

Boise Idaho Help?
Hello, Does anyone live in Boise that has the tool to reset the TPS on a 2017 Power Wagon? I installed Nitto Ridge Grapplers and am using pressure lower that the factory TPS setting. I would like to get rid of the low pressure light so if one actually looses pressure the factory system will alert me...

Add me to the Duratrac hate list.
I have 8K miles on my 2017. Last summer one of the Duratracs went flat with a rock penetrating the tire between the treads. I already had a good compressor so that prompted me to buy a tire plug kit. This last weekend I had another flat. This time It was a large hole through the tread. The hole was ...

Re: Viair vs ARB
The 400p automatic seems cool but it looks like you have to hold down lever the entire time while filling up. That seems terrible when doing all 4 tires! My wife made a Velcro strap to hold down the handle on the inflator handle on our Viair 450. It's simple and it works great but of course I keep ...

Re: Locker Bypass / Locker Engagement question
I really don’t know about the oem lockers, but arb air lockers can be actuated at high speed just fine as long as you’re going straight and not under heavy load. I’d imagine it’s somewhat similar, forward speed being less important than speed differentiation between drive wheels on the axle to be l...

Locker Bypass / Locker Engagement question
I recently installed the locker bypass kit in my 2017. It works fantastic. I am wondering what everyone thinks about what speed is acceptable to engage the lockers? Of course I understand that you don't want to engage them when there is a load on them. Is it OK to engage the lockers at say 45 mph wh...

The last post in the thread is the current waiting list. I think there are 22 on the list. You will need to contact Retired BLM Rig and see if he has any idea on how long the wait is.
