Add me to the Duratrac hate list.

I have 8K miles on my 2017. Last summer one of the Duratracs went flat with a rock penetrating the tire between the treads. I already had a good compressor so that prompted me to buy a tire plug kit. This last weekend I had another flat. This time It was a large hole through the tread. The hole was ...

Re: Viair vs ARB

The 400p automatic seems cool but it looks like you have to hold down lever the entire time while filling up. That seems terrible when doing all 4 tires! My wife made a Velcro strap to hold down the handle on the inflator handle on our Viair 450. It's simple and it works great but of course I keep ...

Re: Locker Bypass / Locker Engagement question

I really don’t know about the oem lockers, but arb air lockers can be actuated at high speed just fine as long as you’re going straight and not under heavy load. I’d imagine it’s somewhat similar, forward speed being less important than speed differentiation between drive wheels on the axle to be l...

Locker Bypass / Locker Engagement question

I recently installed the locker bypass kit in my 2017. It works fantastic. I am wondering what everyone thinks about what speed is acceptable to engage the lockers? Of course I understand that you don't want to engage them when there is a load on them. Is it OK to engage the lockers at say 45 mph wh...

The last post in the thread is the current waiting list. I think there are 22 on the list. You will need to contact Retired BLM Rig and see if he has any idea on how long the wait is.

Re: Locker Bypass Installed!

I am working on installing the kit on my 2017. To mount the control box the air box and the air box mount to the inner fender needs to be removed. How do you get the air box assembly out of the way to mount the control box to the fender? I can see the top two bolts but I can’t see how you remove the...

Re: Locker Bypass Rebirth

I am so excited about this. In my mind this will complete my Power Wagon. I guess I get why Dodge limited the lockers to low range for liability but I really want to be able to use my lockers when I feel I need them. Not limited to only use them in low range. I have thought about using the function ...

That is an impressive setup! Is the third main battery an Optima Grp 34s also? Aren't the batteries supposed to be in matched pairs or trios?

I believe it comes with 85' of 7/16 wire rope. I have installed 100' of 7/16 synthetic so I also can confirm it does fit. Sorry I have no idea how much 1/2 will fit.

Hawse Fairlead

I changed to synthetic winch cable from Custom Splice. They recommend not using roller fairleads (even new ones) with synthetic line. One of the members here posted pictures of his hawse fairlead he mounted using aluminum stock. I don't have access to aluminum so I used 1/4" angle iron. Here is what...
