Re: 2018 Power Wagon issues

I have dealt with “engineers” and they are a joke. Mechanics didn’t design, write 10’s of thousands of lines of finite element code, perform countless stress analyses, spend years in the lab formulating new materials & experimenting, build, test, or produce these trucks. Agreed, i was referr...

Re: 2018 Power Wagon issues

I have dealt with “engineers” and they are a joke. I feel bad that you, Reloaderguy and Selloutrr, have to go through these headaches. The main reasion i still wrench is figuring out “those” problems. Like i said earlier, manufactures have bred this style of tech, parts throwers. They only get paid ...

Find the large mult-pin wire connectors under the dash and push them up and down, see if it makes the lights go funky.
Radio stuff may be software.

Re: 2018 Power Wagon issues

Sounds to me like a ground or connector issue. I have seen vehicles shipped with main connectors not fully seated or pushed out pins. I believe you need to find a good service department that will actually care about fixing it. When I left the dealer service department (8 years Chrysler master) ther...

I was going to say northern NM. Between Santa Fe and Colorado somewhere. I'm just east of Abq and love it out here. Originally from eastern PA. We're in the mountains but not too far from (what some people call) civilization.

Re: Daul Battery --2014-2018

Pretty sure I posted this a couple years ago, but I spoke with a Dodge dealer service manager who seemed to know his stuff, and he told me that the on voltage regulator my 3G is part of the the ECM and is not programmable, even at the dealer level. External regulator is a possibility, but would pro...

I’ve been to smaller auto shows already and feel the same way. Just stuff local dealers have on the lot, nothing special. They only bring cool stuff to bigger cities. As for your conversation, i hope that he was listening. But I honestly feel he probably is unable to do anything signifigant to make ...

I might know a guy that can change tpms thresholds. Not sure about idle up, pretty sure my truck won't allow that.
I'll ask him next time I see him.

Nice. Hopefully your ordeal will finally be over.
We should have an ABQ PW meet sometime. Run Cedro or something.
I have been seeing more of them on the roads around here lately.

Power went out today. Nothing out of the ordinairy, we live in the mountains. I deceided to hang out in the truck for a little to charge my phone and plus the boys ( 5 and 2) like to climb around. We had the windows down while we were in but closed them for sure when we were done. Two hours later, d...

"it's just a ram truck thing". That was a red flag if I've ever heard one! That is just a poor, lazy answer. I can't say any make or model is worse for pinion seal leaks. (Maybe jeeps d44, but that's usually due to lack of maint.) Popping spark plugs, yes. Failing fuel pumps, yes. Broken exhaust ma...
