Re: Synthetic winch line fairlead?

I'm going to keep my front winch factory, something old-school about me enjoys the durability of the wire rope, although i would like a different front hook. I have a Super-winch 12.5K on a portable Class III receiver-hitch cradle that I keep in my garadge. I built it so I can simply place it on any...

Re: Someone pls educate me on 14+ Axles

I"m going to put my AFE Pro-Series Front Diff cover up for sale.... unless I plan on putting jelly beans in it for my coffee table, its useless to me. Will try and make the rear one fit somehow since the bolt pattern is right. Not really interested in fabricating sway-bar brackets though :digahole: ...

Stupid Question, Dually wheels on 14+ PW

I went up into the barn yesterday and realized I still had a set of stock 2010 Ram Dually wheels and tires.... my head got to scratching. What if I was doing a long-distance haul with a heavy trailer and didn't want to burn through a set of nice 35" M/T..... hmmmm  How can I make this work? :w...

Re: Someone pls educate me on 14+ Axles

Where do I get these spacers for the rear sway bar? I really want to get the diff covers off at 3000mi to clean out the metal and magnets, replace fluid and hopefully extend E-locker lifespan.?

Re: So everyone knows how well a bull bar is fastened.....

LeD lights have almost no "throw", it's like having set of annoyingly bright fog lights. You can spend thousands on them, and every single component, regardless of brand, is made in China. The Q/A of the housing seals, paint, coatings, elements, etc are the only variable among so-called domestic bra...

Re: 2017 Wandering/Pulling to Right

If you drive on the other side/slope of the crown does it pull he opposite Direction? Road crown introduces a lateral vector component of weight. In order to balance that lateral component an equal and opposite force must be generated at the road surface interface; a force which happens to be equiva...

Re: Diesel Power Wagon... Again..

I've avoided this thread. But now I'm here. I am so far under that 80k mark that it's kind of a joke. Unless you pay someone else to do everything for you and they know you're a sucker. (Like aev haha) I haul just as heavy with my 3/4 ton now as when I did before it got powerwagon axles and suspens...

Someone pls educate me on 14+ Axles

Search function was marginally helpful. So I've had a pair of AFE POWER Pro-Series diff covers sitting in my garage for like 4 years, new in box, that I've been waiting to put on my next Ram. Originally bought them for a 2010 dually tow rig but never got around to the install. Of course buying the 1...

Re: 2018 Release

The 1500 is slated for refresh in 2019, and if Fiat Chrysler follows suit with what they've traditionally done, we won't see 2500/3500 trucks until the 2020 model year. The PW might actually be a year AFTER that (maybe) so the "new" PW could be a 2021. My guess however is that the TRX concept may ac...

Re: Diesel Power Wagon... Again..

Funny I don't hear the Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited crowd clammoring for a 6.7 Cummins... I wonder why. Probably because they do their crawling with gears and axle articulation, not raw toque at the cost of tremendous added weight, parts, emissions, complexity, and cost. It's not like you can't buy a ...

Re: "Welcome Thread"

Hello? Testing... THello Power Wagoners. I'm a long-time MOPAR fanatic who recently converted from 10 years of Cummins Diesel ownership. As we go through life our needs and wants change, I've always had a distant love affair with Power Wagons since the name was revived by then Daimler Benz. It was a...

Re: Locker question

Apparently my replies need moderator approval...that's interesting. Anyways, when you turn your knob to lock either rear or both front/rear it's it a lock signal, it's more of a lock request. The computer is probably waiting for the splines to align, or else it's waiting for differential rates of ro...

Re: Locker question

After doing some testing both in soft grass and with the truck on jack stands, I now know exactly how the system works.
