Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Just a couple pictures of the truck since the addition of the 40" LTB's. We went hunting and hauled hunting camp in with the Power Wagon. On the way out a Rubicon had oil pump problems so we drug him out 12 miles. The truck did amazing dragging dead weight through stuff that the Jeep under its own p...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Made a couple changes to our 06 Power Wagon. 2" longer controls arms, 2.5" spacer up front, 1.5" spacer in the rear and 40 inch ltb's. Making room for the tire. I still need to cut a little more off the bumper to clear the tires. http://pics.montypics.com/akwhtbst/2017-08-02/1501693910_img_20170731...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

I'll be very excited if things work out for you. It's easy to stick within the norms and sit around and say "that won't work because of X and Y", but then somebody goes out and finds a way. Glad you're liking the truck, these things are amazing for what they are. I'd bet lots of us get a smile on o...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Thanks! So it's been a long time but I thought I remember talking with Aaron at Thuren and him saying that the reason you can't push the axles forward more than about 5/8" on these trucks is that the Trackbar frame mount will hit the coil or coil bucket. That looks to be the case in the pictures yo...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Can you post up pics of your control arms and the clearance between the Trackbar frame mount and the coil bucket? These control arms are a temporary setup until I have the time to build a long arm setup for the truck. http://pics.montypics.com/akwhtbst/2017-08-03/1501776692_img_20170802_101316.jpg ...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon Alaska Build

I joined the Power Wagon forum recently. We purchased a stock 2006 Power Wagon to take wheeling and get the entire family out in the wood hunting. The list of mods so far is short but I will update when we get more done. Where do you live in AK? Love it there, my favorite assignment yet! I live in ...

Re: 2006 Power Wagon Alaska Build

You considering regearing for those huge tires? I am running 37X12.50's on the street and will be running 37X13 Boggers this summer unless I come across a deal on a set of 39's. Once I go with a 42-43" tires I will still daily drive the truck on 37-38's. I was just test fitting these to take notes ...

What size are the Boggers ? 35's, 37's or 38's ?
I'd like to move it 2-3 inches forward.

37x13's on it now.

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Those flares look huge!!!! Were they made for the truck or are you doing a custom job? I have not been able to find a flare made for the 3rd gen Dodges. These are bushwhacker cut out flares for a Ford Super Duty. They are huge and have opened the wheel wells a lot and will provide a bunch of tire c...

Re: Power Wagon Picture Thread

Welcome. With those flairs. Look like you have enough room for 40's. You planning on larger tires? Yes I do but only if a great deal comes along this summer. I am planning on building a long arm for the front this winter and I am going to move the front axle forward. I'd like to fit a 43" SX2 under...
