The tough county steps actually mount to where the body attaches to the frame. No way to add additional braclet's. Since these don't actually mount to the inside of the rockers, I was wondering if anyone has experience with these types of mounting systems. I know there used to before.manufactures th...

Yeah one reason. I was asking is lIke others my wife needs a step. I installed a rocker mounted step on my 2017 PW. Slid into a ditch and now have 3 dents on the rocker where the rocker mounted brackets pushed up into the rocker. Never again. Didn't want to spend the money on sliders but would have ...

Tough Country Running Boards/Step
Has anyone tried these? They attach to the body mounts on the frame and not the rocker panels. They seem like a id point in terms of protection and cost of the rocker mounted bars vs. rock sliders.
