Re: Off and On Road Lights
Anyone have more pics of off-road lights on a 2017? Just starting to look around for ideas, would like some to light up the ditches to watch for bambi. On car id they have some hinge mounts, anyone use these? Or have any input? https://www.carid.com/2017-ram-2500-off-road-lights/zroadz-hood-hinges-m...

Re: Warranty Being Denied
Called the dealer I bought the truck from, they are going to replace the lights under warranty. Just means a 2 hour drive there, and back. Learned my lesson, next time straight to the dealer. Like was posted, definitely a "do it yourself" kind of guy, just wanted to protect my truck. Will know for n...

Re: Warranty Being Denied
Yeah not to happy with the local dealer, that's why I contacted Chrysler Canada. Just a piss off when a guy spends his money on a truck and something simple like this takes away from the experience.

Warranty Being Denied
Hey everyone, so picked up my 2017 PW on June 2, a Friday. On Monday the 5th I had 3m put on to help protect it. The next weekend I took it out on a road trip to show the folks the new wheels. My dad being a gear head was giving it a go over when he noticed 3 out of the 5 clearance lights had moistu...

Re: 6.4L Break In
Well I am trying my best to follow all these guidelines. In town I try to step on it and let it rev up a bit higher then I normally would. And if I am on the highway I try to change my speed every 15 minutes or so. The oil changes were part of the deal so I am with Mopar oil for a while. Thanks ever...

Re: 6.4L Break In
Thanks for all the info guys, much appreciated. Bill2014- For the first 200 km I drove home from the dealer, I varied it from 80-100 km/h. From there I started give it some gas and let it hit a little higher RPM's. Then for the the next couple hundred I've varied it from about 90-120 km/h. I was tol...

6.4L Break In
Hello guys, on Friday I took possession of my 2017 PW! However the dealer didn't go over much with it. Seemed I knew more then he did. Just wondering how many kilometers (or miles) would you consider before it is broken in? Also since I've picked it up, and perhaps its just me and my over analyzing ...

Re: Firestone Vs AirLift
Mine is a 2017. Just got told delivery is May 22 to the 28. I am looking at the WirelessAir kit to compliment the Airlift bags, just wondering where guys have mounted their compressors?

Re: Firestone Vs AirLift
Thanks for the reply. I do know Firestone has made air bags for years. I was actually leaning towards the Airlift Ultimates as you can run them with 0 Psi and they have the internal bounce stopper. I have to price out both systems, warranties, etc. I would love the on board compressor and dual contr...

Firestone Vs AirLift
Hello guys, as the day is drawing closer to getting my new PW one of my first mods I plan to do is a set of air bags. I can't justify the Carli bags (especially with the way the Canadian Peso is these days) so that leaves me with either the Firestone or the Airlift bags and Daystar Cradles. Just won...

Re: Carpet Vs Rubber Floor
Thanks for the responses everyone. Yes the truck will be my daily driver. I probably wouldn't have thought twice about it, but after talking to my old man and him being old school, he suggested the vinyl flooring for the ease of cleaning. Granted we do go camping, hiking, dirt-biking, all the fun st...

Re: Just got my Black 2017 Wagon
Hey AcerWagon, do you mind saying what you paid for yours? I got a quote for $56,428 Canadian. That's for Leather&Luxory, dual alternators, trailer tow mirrors, led bed lights, remote start. No rambox, no sunroof, no cargo cam, no keyless entry.

Re: Carpet Vs Rubber Floor
I went yesterday to order a 2017 PW only to find the sales manager that quoted me over the phone the previous day was not in, but was still on the fence of this topic. I have done some snooping on here. With the carpet, you can buy a good mat, and in winter with melting snow, you can empty the mat o...

Carpet Vs Rubber Floor
I would suspect the majority of trucks sold these days come with carpet. Just wondering what your thoughts are on carpet vs rubber floors? If going carpet I do believe a good set of floorliners, such as Weather Tech's are essential. Any thoughts, opinions, real experiences.

Re: 2016 PW - Howl at 90km/50mph
My duratrac's do the same howl right around 80-90. Been like that for a long time. They are lightly feathering the tread on the inside of both front tires, but nothing major.

Hello guys, I had a thread on here regarding the Laramie and new body design options. Thanks for everyone that commented! I have come to the conclusion that if I am going to spend that much, might as well order one the way I want it. After building the truck on the website I am just about to pull th...

Re: Laramie or New Style
Haha yeah pretty much! With the one off the lot I was going to low ball them with an offer, and they are having 0% financing. Not many of the new PW's around my area at the moment.
How are you liking your PW Laramie?

Laramie or New Style
Hello guys, new to the forum but been reading lots for the last month. I've decided it's time for a new truck, and have done some research. I live in Alberta, so we get our fair share of snow, the GF and I ride dirt bikes, and camp with our trailer, fish, and the odd trip through the Rockies. With t...
