Re: Seat Height and headroom issues.

Hell, I'm 6'2" and headroom is tight. Something about the cabs make them seem smaller. My guess is no aftermarket seat rails, so a custom rail would need to be be fabbed, likely at considerable expense

Re: Rear drive shaft rub

One of the members here had reinforced notch fabbed into factory plate. That plate may be able to be adjusted some depending where it's at now. I recall the plate is bolted to frame on tab/hanger.

CAD alright. Looks like the actuator housing seal or housing is leaking. Assume it's under warranty, take it to dealer and get it fixed.

Re: PowerSteps

The AMP power steps have safety switch that stops deploy/stow when a certain level of voltage is exceeded. You can also force the steps to stay deployed by stepping on them, apply pressure, and shut door. They'll stay deployed until you open and close door. Not sure what good that does, you really c...

Good 'ol reflash. FCA must tell their dealer techs to reflash for any customer complaint. Fixes it every time!

Re: PWJouster's Build - 2018 Power Wagon "TrailWhale"

i have the 100k mile warranty. I thought FCA cut the powertrain warranty to 5/50 for HD gassers? How did you get 100K? I'm shocked a truck that is less than year or a little over and tranny already failed? You must ride hard. According to some, flushing has it pros and cons and could have mucked up...

Can’t get anyone on the phone and the response on email is almost as useless as the phone. Seriously debating going after my money through my credit card company becau...

As an alternative, and likely not as secure, I think MOPAR sells lock mechanisms for the rear floor storage compartments.

FCA reimbursed me for the Synergy drag link. Sent from my SM-N976V using Tapatalk Maybe your case is the exception and your claim was processed by the right person. I have read anecdotal accounts that support what I was told by the dealer. The fact they refused to order the part and all the other e...

Re: PowerSteps

All of the new 2019 Power Wagons on the dealer lots (that i've seen) do have some sort of steps. And it's definitely not a robust rock slider! I'd rather have the step(s) as optional from the factory so the buyer can put on something appropriate based on their intended use (rocks or mall) Tha...

Re: Overland 1.5 inch Spring w/King OEM 2.5 Shock

Swapping the front springs out would also motivate me to get the Synergy drag link to replace the fubar welded unit the truck came with. I was thinking about doing this, but FCA will not reimburse because it not a genuine MOPAR part and not the approved fix. I didn't make that up, but what the deal...

Re: PowerSteps

I have them, but off road worthiness is uncertain. As long as it's light to moderate should be okay. But if doing something where the rockers would contact ground, rocks, stumps, or stuck in mud to the point the frame is submerged, then they would be more than likely damaged in some shape or form. A...

Re: Radiator Hoses: To Change Or Not?

Used to be the so-called experts said change all the hoses every 5-7 years. I think most run until it blows out. Hard to tell anymore with parts made all over the world. I generally change them when they get spongy/mushy around the inlets and outlets or start bulging or when I do a rad flush and fil...

Re: Adding a front camera to a 2019?

A handful of businesses make the kits that interface with the OEM radio. Most are pricey, otherwise you'll have to power it and run it to its own monitor. I thought I read somewhere the '19s had a front camera or was an option (and you did say that). Infotainment.com and Camerasource.com come to min...

Barn doors. I can't see the latching mechanism, but I could see a load shifting, push open the gates, and spill out the load. I wonder what the weight rating is before the latches fail.

Has the drag link been redesigned? I saw a YouTube video where a guy went to a dealer and looked under a '19 2500 and sure enough the drag link was different. I can't find any '19 mechanical parts available online, but was planning to buy one to see if the drag link out of a '19 PW would fit a '16 a...

Tie Down Cleats

These are the cleats that are fixed to the bed box utility rail and I assume these are not available separately since after searching around the various online MOPAR parts sites don't seem to offer these separately. Does anyone know if the cleats are available, without having to buy the entire syste...

The way trucks are priced, I'm betting $70K for a gasser and about $80K for diesel and that's with entry level trim. In a few years trucks will be 6 figures, maybe sooner.

Which of the 2 Magnaflow kits did you get? The one with the dual tips or the single 4"? I went with single outlet. I did have an issue with the mid pipe. I could not get the OEM pipe off as it was tac welded at the Y-Pipe collector so left it on and cut the kit's mid pipe to length. I didn't want t...

I've ran Gibson and MagnaFlow cat-backs. Currently running MagnaFlow. The MagnaFlow is okay, doesn't drone when cruising, throaty, tame, but not obnoxiously loud, even at heavy acceleration. I do run the full kit, resonator and muffler, some on here delete one or the other. Then there is custom exha...

If I'm not mistaken, pretty sure there is some sort of heat exchanger on the filter adaptor or it's tied into the coolant circuit.

Re: Cold air intake

I am not running CAI, but AFE also makes an enclosed CAI for Power Wagons. I use a an AFE dry media filter in the OEM air box. Not sure these enclosed CAIs are of any value unless you are running a tune or some sort of forced air induction. I wouldn't run an exposed filter that pulls hot from engine...
