Diff and Transfer Case Oil Recommendations

Hopefully this hasn't been posted somewhere else? I searched but couldn't find anything.

In previous trucks I like to use Royal Purple Full Synthetic in my differentials and transfer case but haven't gotten around to changing the fluids in my 2015. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
MLC

Can you post a link to the specific camera you are using? This might be a cool addition to my rig.

I am curious, was your sticker price $54,830? That is what Top Speed is saying in this article: https://www.topspeed.com/cars/ram/2018- ... 82577.html

That is a sweet looking truck! I can't wait to see what it will look like with a set of 35s and some WK sliders.

Re: The Power Wagon Curse

He said another guy had tried the evening before but it didn't budge. I was extremely pleased that my pickup was able to get him going. Tore up the plastic on his bumper a bit but he said it was minimal compared to what it would have cost him to have a semi-tow truck get him out (said it would have ...

Re: The Power Wagon Curse

So this morning I was rolling for a bike ride and saw a Semi Truck stuck in an open field near my home. I decided to offer a little help and even though I did think the PW would budge the big beast we decided to try it out anyway. One tug and he was out! Holy crap, this truck continues to exceed my ...

How did/do the KM3s work in the snow? Tomorrow should be an interesting day in the Metro area. Nobody knows how to drive in the snow.

Re: Fed up!!! (More dura trash)

I put on 35x12.5 BFGoodrich KO2s on my 2015 and I am very happy. No rubbing at full lock or when the sway bar is disconnected. They are really only 34" tall as per BFGoodrich's website. The KO2s are a little heavier than the stock tires and like Low Sky says I get a little worse mileage around town ...

Re: Max tire size

I know many people here don't like the BFG KO2 but I have them in a 35/12.50r17 and I have been extremely happy. It was amazing how much quieter it was immediately after installation as well as less vibration (could never get the Duratracs balanced). I had to air down my spare to get it in there and...

Re: New member from Montana

Beautiful truck! Funny but I came over to the PW after driving a 16 Tacoma as well. On the road with 35s I get just about the same gas mileage as in my Taco with 265s. Go figure! Love the wagon.

Re: Battery question

I just replaced mine on my 15. Not sure if it will work out well but I got this Continental AGM battery at my local distributer: https://www.continentalbattery.com/products/485 It's numbers were really good and the price ($175) was excellent compared to similar AGM batteries. Something I noticed tha...

Re: 2015 Needs a new battery

Thanks for all the detail! Exactly why I asked. I will look into the Full River brand to see if there is anyone locally that has them. We have a 4 Wheel Parts store that carries Odyssey but I am a but reluctant at this point. We also have an Interstate distributer, anyone had any luck with their pre...

2015 Needs a new battery

Anyone have a battery recommendation for a 2014+ Power Wagon? Went out to run an errand this morning and truck wouldn't start. My ride is a 2015 but build date is 2014, so battery is 4 years old. I live in the desert southwest and this isn't unusual for as far as battery life. Now it is time to choo...

Re: Best Build Decision? Leather....

I know there are some people that love the Duratrac but for me changing to a BFG KO2 was the best single move I have made. My truck rides better and quieter with a larger tire (35") and I haven't seen a significant change in MPG even with a tire that is heavier and larger. My Duratracs were well wor...

Re: WK Sliders install

I had a slight fender bender that trashed my old steps so when I went to get it repaired I upgraded to the WK sliders with the diamond plate installed. The body shop insisted that they install them (they came in about 5 weeks after repairs were completed) so I complied like a good customer. They sai...

LOL! I agree if you go thru Clines Corners and Vaughn but since I live south of you I head through Carizozo and Lincoln. Average less than 70 mph and I get great MPG.

Re: Changeable Settings at Dealer

Hey Snewmon, I went with the ATs (KO2). So far so good, much quieter than the original tires. Last weekend we went quail hunting near Roswell and driving back I got 16.5 MPG. Got to love this truck! Of course if I drive 80 MPH it drops down to 14ish but hey it is a 7,000 pound truck. I would love to...

Hey Snewmon, I got the Procal and really feel like it was worth it. I have 35's on my 2015 and it shifts great. I haven't done the TPMS yet, waiting till I have time to get that done. I am down the road in Los Lunas. BTW I got my fully inflated BFG (35") up into my spare location with a little fines...

Re: Changeable Settings at Dealer

You might want to look at an AEV ProCal if you want to change the tire settings. Also allows you to Recalibrate speedometer for larger tires (up to 48" tall), Axle gear ratio recalibration (3.21-4.88), Turn one-touch lane change on/off, and Turn fog lights with high beams on/off (off-road use only)....
