I've changed a few sets with the OTC tools and never had any issue.
They sometimes need persuasion by BFH on the side of the knuckle with the clamp as tight as you can get it
Thanks... may give it another go with the otc clamp

Re: WtB snap on ball joint press BJP1

I know they are pricey... ...

Re: snorkel guys .. need your input

Understandable... but is it really any cleaner a few feet higher? Probably not that much although it does make a small impact... Im more interested in the prefilter.... the cyclonic precleaner appears to work really well.. there are videos on youtube showing how much dust that thing can spin out

Yeah, again zero impact. No improvement, not decrease. Mostly looks. I extended my breathers and taped it up.
Thanks.. i was hoping for zero impact.. so looks like i may end up with one eventually...

Re: snorkel guys .. need your input

Perfect would have moved the air filter so we could mount a second battery in the same location as the diesel trucks. That would be awesome... i have dual alts and dual batts would be nice... It really wouldnt be that difficult but probably just too small a market... To the other replies, thanks......

snorkel guys .. need your input

I live in dusty AZ and the aev raised intake with precleaner

My question is did it cause a lot of wind noise on highways? How much does it block your view?

Anybody regret doing it? Its a one way street and im keeping the truck long term, but want to make sure i factor everything in.

Thanks

Re: Replacing tow mirror arm cover

Simple enough.. did it myself. Had to break the old one as removing it was a pain... held on by clips... new one just snaps on...

Assuming its the black piece covering the front of the arm it was 20 to 30 bucks a piece if i remember right

Bought the 60 too... it is heavy and awkward to use but i think its best to have it longer than fall short. I use the tire hooks and i can see the 48 running out of room depending on the situation

Re: Front axle u joint part numbers?

There is no cross-drilling on u-joints without the grease fitting that I have found. So if you want to drill a cap. You will only be greasing that one cap. And you better have some good drill bits too. That's hard metal. As for ball-joints. If you get ball-joints that have splines on the fit area. ...

I have 60/65 but also have 315.70.17 falken at3w with max pressure of 60/65 while being e rated... rides better than the oem wranglers and is e rated
