Re: Winching and Recovery 101

Quick question guys? Did your winch line come fixed to the drum or was it just laying on it? I’ve talked to a couple folks and there’s was not attached.

Thank you!

Yep, even worse I was in an overflow area that apparently gets 1000 gallons a day of water.

Re: Chip your car.

Well after 3 months I’m currentlymrolling right at 12.4 MPG with the lift and on 37s, it took awhile to see the increase but when I unplug the chip and drive I’m just under 10 mpg. Will do another update at 6 months.

Re: Fender Flares

Chromo, any new flares are going to be wider and bigger than the stock which will cover the small amount of 3M tape. The flares I put on the truck fit perfectly with the holes from my previous flares.

Re: Texas Runs?

Mutiny is overrated! I think we could do something close like the track in Crosby or Down South then make the trip to Hidden falls. Maybe we need a meet up at an adult establishment to set something up.

I will post a pic from side and top tomorrow. The flares stick out a little further than the tires about an 1” or 2.

Has anyone tried them or know anything about them? I ordered a stage 3kit and it’s supposed to give about 60 more HP and up to 5mpg. I will let y’all know how it works in the next 3,7,10,15,21,and 30 days.

Thanks Colibri and Olyeir not to bad, I went with the lesser evil on the fender flares, didn’t want painted flares so these were the best I found.
