Re: front and rear track width for 2016
Thanks Bill. I am at the point where one tire is wore down vs the other ,so that would make sense as to not doing the alignment. I just got done making some measurements and found the right front close to 1/8 toe in. I set up a sting line and made the necessary adjustment to get it a little less tha...

Re: front and rear track width for 2016
Thanks BLM, that is the game plan with the toe and pretty much the same info I found in lime for track width, I was trying to narrow the front track down as it does change measurements slightly if you use the string method to make sure you are square and centered on the truck, just not sure if it is...

Re: front and rear track width for 2016
I need to correct that, they told me it would be a waste of money as they would have to do it again when I got the new tires for manufacturer tread life warranty. Caster is 5.0 left front and 5.3 right and camber is .3 left and .1 right I hear what you are saying on the wear, the hardest wear is on ...

front and rear track width for 2016
Hi, looking to see if anyone here has the correct track width for front and rear axles. I have looked a bunch of places on line and find a good deal of variance to the measurements. I want adjust the toe as my front right tire is worn on the outside. I had taken it to the store where I had the tires...

which tire is standing up the best
Hi, looking for some info as to which 285/17 tires are holding up the best for milage. I have a set of Bf junk ko2 E range on mine right now and am very upset with the tire. I have around 13.500 miles ans just over a year and worn down to 7/32 and the jokers at Bf goodrich will only insult you with ...

Re: The random 4wd shift in progress continues.
HI, got a little info as to what I found this morning with the 4wd shift in progress message. I had it appear when pulling out of the driveway so I tried a little test. I held the shift lever lightly towards the 4 hi position and lightly accelerated and got the message let go and it went out , tried...

Re: Bf Goodrich Ko2 tread excessive tread wear
Hey BLM ,I would settle for that kind of milage. Got the offer today from BFG , they will give me 60% for a good will because they don't have a tread wear warranty and this is not a workmanship or material problem. They really no how to stand behind their product when they know this issue of poor we...

Re: Bf Goodrich Ko2 tread excessive tread wear
Little update, got the tires checked at the installer and seems that the tread depth (tires were rotated recently front to rear so tire locations are going to be given at previous to current positions) fronts 11/32 both tires, rear one was 14/32 and the other 12/32. The other issue is the fact all t...

Bf Goodrich Ko2 tread excessive tread wear
Hi, looking to see if anyone else has experienced a super fast read wear with the ko2 tire? I have about 9/32 left on mine at 6500 miles . I talked to someone at BFG and they told me they more than likely will not do anything about this as they tires are not totally worn out.

Hi , I am in need of tires in the near future for my '16 wagon. I usually go to BFG At 's but was at the local Pep Boys today and they had the coopers on the store and the tread pattern caught my eye . I am wondering if anybody is currently running these in the stock size and d or E load range . I a...

Re: New 4x4 In the Family
Congratulations, nice ride. Just keep in mind what the letters JEEP mean when buying add ons --- Just empty every pocket . If it wasn't for the fact that I need the Power wagon to do the truck things in life I would own one of these myself. I can say that I am 50% owner of 1998 Cherokee Sport since ...

Re: 2013+ truck steering nut recall?
Did you read the "fix" for the issue? It involves welding the nuts to the sleeve, not happening on mine unless they get certified welders to do it(not trusting the "authorized techs " who have trouble changing oil to do it right).

pa emissions
Hi, looking for those members in Pennsylvania to see what emission test they are needing to have . I have to go through a two speed test due to the truck not weighing the 9000 lb limit and locations that do the test in my area are getting scarce as well as charging around $90 to do it .

olyelr , does the upper mount plate cause any issues with the sidewall of the tire at full squish? Hard to see how close to the tire the plate is from the pics. Liking how the airlifter mounts the bag to a more vertically straight line vs what the firestone system does. I see the pics on the site sh...

Thanks for the info guys. I am a machinist by trade and tend to over engineer things when it comes to putting accessories on my equipment. I hate to have things fail because of a design that is not up to par. I was a little unsure of the thought that the cradle let things move around to much, and no...

air bags
Hi, just been looking through the posts about air bags and cradles. I have a 2016 and am having thoughts about adding bags to help out with trailer sag . I had them installed on my previous truck (2006 2500 slt) and really liked the fact that I could easily level the truck and improved the ride qual...

Hi guys, just looking to see how your setup is holding up? Are the bags showing any abnormal wear ? I see you have the upper plates with the air fittings to the outside of the frame rail, do they look like they could be installed with the fitting to the inside? I have just skimmed thru the post and ...
