Re: Converting overall costs for capability
Something to consider, I have heard the PW swaybar disconnect will not support the additional weight of the diesel motor.

Any Pics of Hutchinson Wheels?
I am interested in Hutchinson Beadlocks but I am concerned about the offset. Does anyone have these mounted on their Power Wagon? I am especially interested in pics showing how far the wheels stick out.

I really like the Kleinn offering. It looks like the mounting location(s) conflict with White Knuckle Rock Sliders. I am sure it could be rectified, just something to consider.

I would ask the general manager about the comparable rental. Surely they can give you a better discount on one. I pay extra on my insurance to get a comparable rental and have had to use it twice. Good luck.

Re: 37x12.5 on AEV Saltas – metal trimming or liner only (2018)?
Exactly what I'm hoping for! I went with the AEV wheel because they state it will allow fitment of 37s, and they didn't mention cutting being required... I remember reading it had to be a 37” BFG KO2 because they run small. Toyos run true to size or even bigger. This is probably where the discrepan...

I can’t believe someone would actually cut up their truck that much. The end result looks terrible.

Re: WK Sliders install
Overall, my install was quick and easy using the techniques already mentioned. I didn’t use a torque wrench. I just tightened each as much as I could with my 12 inch ratchet. I figured there is no way my 205 pound a$$ was going to bend metal strong enough to support the weight of the truck. I only u...

Good news, as Diablo Sport doesn’t even offer the PCM on their website for a 2017 yet.

Re: Lifetime Power Train Warranty for 3G
...Didn't have to buy the lifetime warranty. In '08. It came with the truck. It was one of their promotions... This is one of the reasons I had seller's regret on my 2007 Power Wagon as it also had the promotional lifetime warranty. I did pay for the lifetime warranty on my 2017. Part of me hopes I...

Re: Winch rope
I agree with DamageWagon. Also, my first criteria for almost everything I buy is durability. Cable is overall more durable than rope, so that is where I lose interest in the limited benefits of rope. I think you mean abuse. No winch rope, wire or otherwise, is rate to pull around fixed objects. Fur...

One side is emergency and towing gear. The other is empty and frequently gets used for groceries if all the seats are full. Once I get a bak-flip cover for more dry storage, I will fill up the other side with more emergency gear.

It is $1040 for the thicker version before you even add powdercoat and shipping:http://www.white-knuckleoffroad.com/ram2014-2017.html

From this website (steel, not aluminum, but the principles should hold true): http://www.atcgroup.com.au/customcastingforging/thedifferencebetweencastingforging.aspx Forged steel is generally stronger and more reliable than castings and plate steel due to the fact that the grain flows of the steel a...
