Re: Jump Pack

I have the NOCO GB50 and GBX75 and both seem high quality and have jumped my truck quite a lot when I was having battery issues.

Re: 35 x 12.50 x 17 Wheel Width Question (10")

If I remember right the 10 inch AEV wheels are designed to run 40s so the offset will be wrong for 37s. Basically it will push them out too far and cause them to rub badly because you aren't doing all the trimming and hacking along with AEV flares that 40s require.

Re: 4.88 vs 5.13

I just had 5.13s installed. I'd agree with ScubaSteve. I haven't driven much... but it MIGHT be a tad low... or it's perfect. If you tow a lot or might someday go to 40s I'd do 5.13 for sure. If not I might waffle... but I'm pretty happy with 5.13s. But towing uphill in 2nd gear at 35 mph getting 2m...

Re: 220amp Alternator Upgrade for 6.4

Yeah, I'd thought about that. I know when I did the research that going to dual alternators changed a pretty major wiring harness and wasn't plug and play. It was fairly extensive. So the wires from the alternator to the battery would have to be verified for guage. Sent from my SM-N976V using Tapata...

Re: 220amp Alternator Upgrade for 6.4

I keep eyeing the Mechman 370A as it's the one upgrade I didn't get on the truck that I should have. But I just haven't ever needed it. But of course soon as I do... or the stock dies I'll do it.

Re: Patagonia mile stars

General concensus on these that I've seen is that they are a great tire but don't last under these heavy trucks. But phenomenal on a mid size rig. Ymmv.

Re: Sway and oscillation

Does it feel like the rear end is wagging? Because that is the rear trackbar. Or your tire sidewalls are too squishy. Usually the trackbar. Also... if you are towing airbags can help firm it up. Honestly the rear trackbar design is boarderline criminal and shoulda been replaced before it left the de...

WTS - Abel Components Locker and Break Bypasses

I have the locker bypass and the brake nanny bypass that I never installed. I've decided not to install them and looking to sell.

Let me know if anyone is interested.

I mean I've removed it all when I went to Thuren bumper in a driveway. We used a ratchet strap at one point to wiggle the winch and cradle but the bumper is pretty light itself.

I'm sure you could trade someone for the 2016 wheels. They are basically the same just silver. I'd even trade you if it made sense. I have a set of 5 in my garage.

I love Toyo but I need to see these be a big improvement over the AT II before I would consider them over my STT Max’s. The AT II is about the most disappointing tire Toyo makes. have you ventured to the toyo RT yet? they fulfilled everything i was worried about with the ATs, yet kept me far enough...

Looks like at this point (March 2020) they only offer two 17" tires that might suit our trucks: our stock size and 35x12.50

Yea, I tried it without the spacer but the bag then required more pressure for the lift/support I wanted to achieve. I may remove it after I install the Thuren shackles and king shocks. (this is to support ~1600lb slide in Hallmark Camper) My thought was to get the level with the lowest psi for a s...

Here are a couple pictures with measurements I got when checking for clearance on my flatbed build.
